Words of Namo Amituofo on the Compassionate Vows of Practitioner Su
April 9, 2023

Words of Namo Amituofo, recorded by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe.
The journey from nothing to something is the true reflection of the history of Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Every blade of grass, every grain of sand, every speck of dust, and every brick and tile that forms this sacred space has emerged from nothingness into a tangible reality. This manifestation is the result of Practitioner Su, who has diligently and compassionately cultivated this vast land with a heart dedicated to the Buddha.
The Power of Compassionate Transformation
Through the profound practice of , the destiny of countless beings has been irrevocably changed. This includes the earthly creatures that dwell upon this land, the spirits residing in the surrounding space, and even the souls throughout the Realm and the Milky Way. Through the compassionate intervention of Practitioner Su, beings who were once trapped in the dark, suffering realms of demons have been guided into the brilliant, luminous world of the Buddha.
All of these profound changes have occurred because of the various manifestations and selfless actions of Practitioner Su. Where there was once only despair, hope has now blossomed. Where there was once stagnation, a new vitality has emerged for all beings. Most significantly, through the practice of Chao Du, spirits from the spiritual realms have been able to fulfil their deepest aspiration: to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
A Call to the Fourfold Assembly
The fourfold assembly of disciples must learn from this example. The transformation of the original Hsiang Kuang room into the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre was not a matter of chance. It occurred because Practitioner Su made a great vow to take upon himself the suffering of all beings. By aligning his heart and his vows with those of the Buddha, and by walking the path in actual practice, he has enabled Namo Amituofo to truly abide at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This presence provides a convenient and direct gateway for all beings to enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Everything we see here has undergone a transformation because of the dedication of Practitioner Su. In particular, the spiritual lives of the monks and nuns have been nurtured and guided through his efforts. The fourfold assembly must cherish this opportunity deeply. The development of one's Dharma Body and wisdom is not an easy task. To have entered the Buddha's gate and to be part of this Pure Land lineage is a rare and precious Dharma affinity. Do not let this opportunity slip away through negligence or lack of focus. Treasure this path, for it is the way to leave suffering behind and find eternal happiness.
