This is a record of an interview with Huang Hsin-chieh, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his life and political career in Taiwan, offering a stark warning about the consequences of political ambition and the reality of the spiritual realms. This interview was recorded by the disciple Li Jiaxian on May 31, 2017.

Huang Hsin-chieh speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Huang Hsin-chieh. I imagine that seeing this online might come as quite a shock to many of you! You are likely very curious as to why I, Huang Hsin-chieh, am appearing here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I will not speak at great length, but let me tell you, my life was quite illustrious. In the political sphere—especially within the Kuomintang and the Democratic Progressive Party—who did not know the name Huang Hsin-chieh? Back then, I acted for my own ideals and for the sake of the Taiwanese people. I felt that the Kuomintang was bullying the people of Taiwan, and I possessed a strong sense of justice. I led several members of the Democratic Progressive Party to initiate the Formosa Incident. I served as the party chairman, opposing the Kuomintang, and I even engaged in brawls and protests in the Legislative Yuan. I set a very poor example for those watching on television."

The Weight of Political Ambition

"At the time, I truly believed that I was doing things for the Taiwanese people, that I was venting their frustrations. I felt that everything I did was for the sake of Taiwan and the future of the Democratic Progressive Party. I did not know that there is such a thing as cause and effect. It was only after I died and descended into the hells that I realised I had to bear the consequences of my actions. Standing before the court of King Yama, I was interrogated. Only then did I understand that by projecting such a negative image in the world, inciting ethnic unrest, and causing the Democratic Progressive Party and the Kuomintang to fight each other, I had left the common people in a state of constant anxiety. I had to bear the for that."

Retribution in the Hells

"Because I had led the unrest and caused such widespread fear and instability, King Yama sentenced me to suffer in the heart-gouging hell. I had used my intellect to plot how to bring down the Kuomintang, inciting party members to march in the streets, which caused dissatisfaction and panic among the people. Because I had incited ethnic conflict and left the public in a state of unease, I was also sentenced to the brain-gouging hell. I want to advise everyone here, regardless of your political party—whether you are a native Taiwanese or someone who came from the mainland—we are all one family. Do not continue to fight and harm one another. In the end, you only harm yourselves. When you eventually descend into the hells, you are the ones who must suffer the retribution. Love Taiwan well; this is a precious land. Hold hands and work together to create a beautiful Taiwan."

A Second Chance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre

"While I was suffering in the hells, I felt deep gratitude for the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and for Practitioner Su. He is a person of true virtue and cultivation, someone who possesses the genuine skills to lead spirits to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. He has the ability to rescue those trapped in the hells. I was incredibly fortunate to encounter Practitioner Su. As it happened, he was driving to Taipei and saw my name on a billboard. He is so compassionate; he knew I was in the hells and rescued me, sparing me from further suffering. I am deeply grateful for his . During the , he sent my spirit to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss."

Life in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss

"The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is the Pure Land of Namo Amituofo. This place is filled with infinite light and infinite life. This world is entirely different from the human world; it is a life in a higher spiritual realm. You do not need to struggle or work to earn a living for your three meals. In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, whatever you desire manifests before you. This world is truly, truly wonderful. The gold, silver, and jewels that people in the world treasure so much are merely things we walk upon here. If I want to eat something, it appears; if I do not want it, it vanishes. If I wish to live in a certain type of house, it manifests for me. Namo Amituofo is so compassionate; no matter what we have created in the world, as long as we can repent and chant 'Namo Amituofo' in our final moment, He will lead us to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am one of the beneficiaries. I must thank Practitioner Su for his great heart and compassionate spirit in sending me there. I am twelve thousand times grateful, and I hope that the people of Taiwan who see this online will believe that this is a genuine truth. I, Huang Hsin-chieh, stake my reputation on this—it is the absolute truth. If you do not believe me or have doubts, you can come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia to verify it. I will give you a satisfactory answer. Thank you, Namo Amituofo."

The Truth About the Three Hun Souls and Seven Po Souls

Li Jiaxian: "Thank you, Chairman Huang, for revealing the truth. May I ask, at what age were your three hun souls and seven po souls captured, and when did you start to fall ill?"

Huang Hsin-chieh: "People in the world only know about the three hun souls and seven po souls, but they do not know that when these are captured, begins to deteriorate. This is something discovered during the Chao Du performed by Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre—that there are spaces within spaces, and these spaces have no layers. When our three hun souls and seven po souls are captured, specific parts of our body begin to develop illnesses. If you ask me when mine were captured, it dates back to when I was party chairman. Because I had to lead party members in street protests, I had to be bold. My words had to be believed and heard by others so that they would follow me. I often had this dream where I was leading a march, and I felt very proud, thinking I held great weight in the hearts of the Democratic Progressive Party members. When I was sixty-two, I had this dream frequently. Not long after, I began to suffer from dizziness, and my head, shoulders, and neck were often tight. I saw doctors and took medicine; they said I had high blood pressure and thick blood, and my heart was weak. This condition grew increasingly severe. At that time, my seven po souls had all been captured. As for my two hun souls, because the Formosa Incident caused riots and many people died, the leader had to bear that karma. One of my hun souls remained at the scene of the incident, shouting and caught in the chaos. The other hun soul, because I had led the society into such a poor state and caused such unrest, had long been captured and taken to the heart-gouging hell to suffer retribution. At that point, my body became weaker and weaker, and I was constantly in and out of the hospital. Finally, at seventy-one, I died of a myocardial infarction. I have now made my process public online so that everyone can know, especially those in the political world. I also understand that in the Legislative Yuan, people pass bills for their own benefit. Which of these legislators is truly working for the welfare of the common people? I was also acting for my own sake. Sigh! I do not want to say any more. I hope you do not follow my path. Namo Amituofo!"

Li Jiaxian: "Thank you, Chairman Huang, for accepting this interview. Namo Amituofo."
