This is a record of an interview with the spirit of a child, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. The child, who was aborted between 1971 and 1975, now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account was recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fajing, on January 3, 2025.

The Spirit of Miaoyin speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Mother, Mother, I have been calling out for you every single day. Now, I want to tell you, Mother, that I have been brought to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss by Practitioner Su.

Practitioner Su is so full of ; she has saved so many spirits. Today, I did not come alone; many adults came along with me as well. I see that everyone is so happy, and I am very happy too. Although I felt a little bit afraid at the very beginning, that fear vanished so quickly.

The Long Wait in the Shadows

Back then, when you did not want me, Mother, I felt so sad for such a long time. Every day I would call out for you. Sometimes I would scream, and sometimes I would cry and make a fuss. But no matter how much I cried or how much I acted out, no one would pay any attention to me. I felt so lonely and so terrified. I did not know what to do, and I just lived like that, day after day. I never imagined that you had never truly forgotten me, Mother. It was because of that connection that you allowed Practitioner Su to save me.

When I was rescued by Practitioner Su, I saw such a massive, brilliant golden light. I love that golden light. It is so bright, yet it does not hurt my eyes at all. When it shines upon me, I feel so warm and so comfortable! Then, I was placed upon the lotus seat near Practitioner Su. That lotus is so soft, so fragrant, and so incredibly comfortable to sit upon.

A New Beginning in the Western Land

Recently, a monastic asked me if I wanted to go to the Western Land. At first, I did not know whether to say yes or no. But then, the uncles and aunties beside me all said they wanted to go. I looked at them, and they seemed so happy and full of anticipation, so I followed them and said I wanted to go too. And just like that, I arrived here.

Now, I am so happy, and I love it here. Everything I could ever want is here. I can even transform myself back into the appearance of an adult instantly—I can change into whatever form I wish.

Although I could not be your son in this lifetime, Mother, it is precisely because you saved me that my spirit has finally attained eternal liberation.

I am so grateful to Namo Amituofo, I am grateful to Practitioner Su, I am grateful to my mother, and I am grateful to everyone.

Miaoyin bows in reverence.

Namo Amituofo."
