Miaoyin’s Long-Awaited Journey to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss
An Interview with a Spirit Saved by Practitioner Su
Recorded on March 7, 2025
This is a record of an interview with a spirit who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. She now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon her experience of being aborted in 1975. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fajing, on March 7, 2025.
Miaoyin speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Miaoyin. I am so deeply grateful to Practitioner Su for saving me and bringing me to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. If it were not for Practitioner Su’s , I would still be waiting in that dark, lonely place, hoping for my mother to come and find me. I waited for such a long, long time, but she never came."
The Hope of Rebirth
"I still remember the time before I was conceived. I had waited for so long, and finally, it was my turn to be reincarnated into the human world. I was so incredibly happy! I felt like I had finally been given a chance to be a person again. Through various Causal Conditions, I entered my mother’s womb. I was filled with such anticipation, telling myself that this time, everything would be different. I promised myself that I would live a good life and never create again."
The Trauma of the Void
"But, not long after my spirit entered my mother’s womb, I was suddenly pulled out by a powerful, violent force. It was as if my entire being was being torn apart. I was in so much pain—it was absolutely agonising. In that moment of intense suffering, I was filled with such anger and fury. I didn't understand why this was happening. Why did my mother want to hurt me? Why didn't she want me?"
A Decade in Darkness
"After that, I don't even know how it happened, but I found myself in a dark, desolate space. It was completely empty, and I was all alone. I kept calling out, 'Mother! Mother! Mother!' but she could never hear me. I waited and waited, hoping that one day she would discover me there and rescue me. I waited for so long that I lost track of how many years had passed."
Finding Peace in the Western Land
"I am my mother’s daughter. When Practitioner Su saved me, I still looked like a ten-year-old child. I don't know why, even after all those years, I remained stuck in that ten-year-old form. I was a cute child, but I never had the karmic affinity to be my mother’s daughter in this lifetime. I was so heartbroken for a long time, but now, I am not sad anymore."
"After listening to the at Practitioner Su’s centre, I finally understood the laws of karma and cause and effect, and I learned about the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am here now, in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is more beautiful and peaceful than anywhere else in the universe. I want to stay here forever and never leave. Thank you, Mother, for letting Practitioner Su bring me here. I am so happy."
"Namo Amituofo."
