The Boundless Treasury of Light
Words of Namo Amituofo, recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.

The Buddha is a vast treasury of light. When the Buddha manifests, this presence is clear and transparent; to possess the Buddha-heart is to have no ego-attachment, with no self, only the welfare of all beings. The true self is boundless, merging with the vastness of the Realm.
The myriad phenomena of the Dharma Realm, across the past, present, and future, are known only to the Buddhas.
The Path of Faith and Understanding
Beings dwell in ignorance, often unable to see the full picture or the laws of and cause and effect, and they may remain confused regarding the Buddha-heart and Buddha-actions. However, through faith in the Buddha, one can let go of ego-attachment and personal views. By following the Buddha’s teachings and the guidance of the sutras, one can receive the benefits of the Dharma.
Within the Dharma Gate, one receives the Buddha's , allowing for rapid purification, to remove defilements and attain purity, to reach , and to attain Buddhahood.
The Magnificence of the Pure Land Dharma Gate
The Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way are known clearly by the Buddhas, who understand and uphold them perfectly. Beings, because they do not know or understand, struggle to uphold them, thus creating negative causes and suffering evil consequences.
Therefore, , the Bodhisattvas, and the patriarchs and venerable masters constantly teach beings, providing admonitions on what can be done and what cannot. This is to help beings follow the path without violating the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, with the sole wish that beings may hear the Dharma, know the Dharma, act according to the Dharma, and leave suffering behind.
The of Namo Amituofo
Beings are reincarnated, suffering from the pain of karma and impermanence, unable to rely on to escape the suffering of reincarnation. To understand the true self and find one's way back to it seems a journey without end, leading to endless suffering.
Amitabha knows the suffering of beings, so the Forty-eight Great Vows and all the magnificent methods to save beings and help them leave suffering behind are contained within the single phrase: Namo Amituofo.
A Path of Dual Power
The Pure Land Dharma Gate is a path that relies on the dual power of one's own practice and the Buddha's blessings. As self-power arises, the practitioner, with the help of the Buddha's power, undergoes purification. In this life, one may remain free from aging and illness; in the next life, the spirit never dies, and one will be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. One can be reborn while carrying karma, no longer suffering, and only receive all happiness.
This path is magnificent and rare; only Buddhas can truly know its depth, which is why all Buddhas praise Amitabha and the Western Land. Namo Amituofo.
