The Mirror of Faith

To the fourfold assembly of disciples gathered here at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, I ask you: Do you truly believe in the Buddha? More importantly, do you believe in yourself? Can you truly accept that you are, in essence, a Buddha? Do you believe that you possess the same Buddha-nature and true self as Namo Amituofo?

If you truly have faith in the Buddha, then you must listen to His teachings. You must be willing to change and adjust your heart and actions. Only by aligning your inner state with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way can your practice gain true strength. This is the only path to .

Aligning with the Universal Truth

If you continue to practise according to your own ego and personal preferences, you will find that all your efforts are in vain. You will remain trapped in the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death, and continue to wander within the six realms of rebirth. This is a tragic waste of your precious life.

Therefore, you must quickly adjust your heart and actions; this is the most vital task for your own salvation. To save yourself is to take full responsibility for your spiritual journey, ensuring that every thought and deed is directed toward the ultimate goal of liberation.

The Urgent Work of Self-Salvation

What does it mean to save yourself? It requires a dedicated commitment to your spiritual journey:
