This is a record of an interview with Lay Practitioner Luo Jian, the mother of Lay Practitioner Qiu Yuqiong. Having sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia, she now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This interview was recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on February 6, 2026.
Lay Practitioner Luo Jian speaks:
". I have finally arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss! It has been such a long, long time since I felt this level of —haha! I truly hope that everyone who reads this letter—my dear family, my beloved children—can accept this message from me with a happy heart. I am writing to you from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The Miracle of Deliverance
First and foremost, I must express my deepest gratitude to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. It is through your boundless and the strength of your vows that such a magnificent world has been established. You have given me the opportunity to step, one stage at a time, from the into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I have been able to gradually understand the profound beauty of the Buddha-land.
I only recently learned that there is a place on Earth called the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. There is a person there named Practitioner Su, who has already realised his true nature and attained Buddhahood. That is the only reason he has the capability to guide me into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. If one has not personally visited this place or witnessed these events with their own eyes, I suspect most people on Earth would find it impossible to believe. But my child, you have such immense —you actually registered for me to receive Chao Du at this very place.
Seeing the Truth of Samsara
Right now, as I reside in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, everything is crystal clear to me. I look upon the events occurring in the human world—including the things that happened during my own life, the events of my many past lives, and the experiences of the sentient beings with whom I share a karmic connection. All of these things are now perfectly transparent to me.
However, to be perfectly honest, even with all this knowledge, there is a lingering feeling of helplessness. Although I have reached the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and have been freed from all afflictions, when I look back at the debts I once owed, when I see my relatives still suffering in other realms, and when I see the sentient beings with whom I have karmic affinities still trapped in the cycle of rebirth, my heart feels heavy. It is not an easy thing to witness.
A Mother's Hope for Her Children
But at this stage, I, Luo Jian, do not yet have the ability to return to the world to save sentient beings. Therefore, I must continue to follow Namo Amituofo here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, practising diligently and purifying myself. One day, when I am like the Buddha, I will certainly return to the human world to save all those with whom I have a karmic connection.
While listening to the sutras and hearing the in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, I have heard Practitioner Su constantly reminding the fourfold assembly of disciples in the human world: if you possess a human body, you must cherish this opportunity to practise. You must seize the moment. Otherwise, once you lose this human body, even if you were to reach a beautiful realm, you would not be able to truly manifest your potential. You would not have the same opportunity as you do in the human world to practise until you realise your true nature and attain Buddhahood.
So, as an elderly person, my only hope is that my children can make the most of their time while they still possess a human body. At the very least, strive to be a good person. When you listen to Practitioner Su’s Dharma talks, you must truly implement those teachings into your daily life. What Practitioner Su says, you must listen to and put into action. If you have not yet done it, you must truly begin to do it. Do not tell yourself that you cannot. If you fail to do so, then with such immense blessings—having encountered Practitioner Su and Namo Amituofo at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre—wouldn't you be wasting this human life?
The Path to
Haha, I will stop nagging now! Children will have their own fortunes! I am doing exceptionally well here. I feel much lighter than I did when I was in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, and I have even transformed into a youthful male form! I suppose that is the true appearance of my soul—very dignified and compassionate. However, I still have much to practise and much room for improvement.
No matter what is happening in your life right now, remember to keep the Buddha-name in your heart. Do not forget the Buddha, and above all, do not forget the way back home.
