A Life Devoted to the

Teacher Li, as he is affectionately known among the fourfold assembly, spent his entire life practising medicine to save the world. His foundation was the Pure Land path. He inspired countless people and spirits to chant Namo Amituofo and attain rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. He truly walked the path step by step, building the Pure Land with every action. This is not a task for those who merely seek worldly success. It requires a specific set of virtues: absolute faith in oneself, unwavering faith in the Buddha, and a foundation of , wisdom, and vast mind-capacity. Only with these qualities can one dedicate their entire life to the mission of spreading the . It is a commitment that defines one's existence.

The Buddha's Support for the Sincere

Master Zhangjia lived in an era similar to that of Teacher Li. Seeing the suffering of all beings, he dedicated his life to saving and liberating them. Such work is only possible while one possesses a physical body in this world. The power of the Buddha will always support those who uphold a righteous heart, righteous vows, and the True Teachings. How much can one achieve? To what extent can one succeed? It depends not on the Buddha, but on the sincerity and the capacity of the practitioner's vow. The Buddha will provide support in direct proportion to the depth of that vow. Even during the process of practice, the Buddha’s power will surely help to remove various interferences and obstacles from the demon crowds. However, when facing these interferences, it depends on whether the practitioner can persist to the end with a heart that never retreats. This is the true test of one's dedication.

The Mystery of Opened Space

Within the head of the Master, there exist many spaces. These spaces contain beings from different years and dynasties. They also include the and attached spirits that have been drawn to him throughout this lifetime due to his thoughts, intentions, discriminations, and every movement of his mind. Originally, these beings existed in their own separate spaces. Now, Practitioner Su has opened these spaces, allowing them to communicate with the outside world. This creates a bridge for communication between beings and between those beings and us. Only through this can we hear the voices of these beings and understand the laws of and cause and effect that bind them. For the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, this has become a very common occurrence. Yet, to the outside world, it is truly hard to believe! This is not merely opening space; it is breaking through the limitations of space itself. The influence of this is profound and far-reaching. Helping everyone understand the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, and return to their true self as early as possible, is the most important task of Buddhist education.

The Exemplary Role of the Sangha

The most representative figures in this work are the monks and nuns. They demonstrate the results of Buddhist education. In the current era, everyone can clearly feel the environment around them. Although material conditions have improved, high technology has brought deeper harm to our body, mind, and spirit. We truly need Buddhist education and practice to help everyone purify themselves. We must not let the pollution of the world hinder the spreading of the Dharma. At this time, the significance and the leadership of the Pure Land school are even more important.

A Return to Clarity

Today, the Master has largely returned to his usual state. This indicates that after passing through the test of demon nature, he is willing to face the truth and remain clear-headed. This is something we are all happy to see. Today, he is already able to sit up and has requested that Practitioner Ni come to see him. We are now awaiting the arrival of Practitioner Ni.
