The Grace of Namo Amituofo

When the spirits of the Demon Realm hear the name of Namo Amituofo, they feel gratitude and for the grace of the Buddha. They are urged to quickly let go of their stubborn personalities and rigid attachments. They are now within the assembly of Namo Amituofo, facing the karmic consequences of their past lives and the cycle of rebirth.

The Roots of Demonic Interference

Many of these spirits are trapped by their own negative patterns, which manifest as various forms of suffering and obstruction. These include:

  • Jealousy and Greed: A constant craving that leads to anger.
  • Ignorance: A refusal to listen to wise counseling or the truth of the .
  • Deep-seated Resentment: A heart entangled in past grievances that refuses to let go.
  • Self-Protection: A defensive posture that inadvertently causes harm to others.
  • Arrogance and Dissatisfaction: A mind filled with pride and a desire for vengeance.
  • Uncontrolled Desires: A difficulty in restraining cravings for sensory pleasures, such as lust, often accompanied by the use of harsh and malicious speech, or a reliance on alcohol.

In truth, these hearts are fragile. They manifest these strange and aggressive behaviours merely to mask their inner anxiety and fear. How can one resolve such deep-seated demonic resentment? The only way is to rely on the compassionate assistance of Namo Amituofo.

The Power of Stillness

When demon crowds interfere with those who are engaged in practice, Practitioner Su remains unmoved, like a mountain, through the strength of his deep meditative concentration. He possesses the wonderful Dharma to subdue demonic enemies and transform infinite beings from the Demon Realm. By his compassionate actions, he helps them return to their original nature of Goodness, allowing them to walk in the footsteps of the Buddha to save all beings.

Saving Spirits Through the Buddha-Light

The Four Heavenly Kings follow Practitioner Su wherever he goes, wherever there is karmic affinity. Through the practice of chanting the Buddha's name, the Buddha-light permeates his entire body. This light acts as a beacon of salvation, rescuing countless spirits and guiding them to rebirth in the . This teaching was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
