The Nature of the Auspicious Land

During the second session of the , we contemplate the profound meaning of the Auspicious Land. When you walk upon this land, you walk with ease and purpose. By diligently sweeping away the dust of worldly defilements, your inner light naturally reveals itself. Every moment you spend in this state becomes an auspicious moment. When you follow the path of chanting Namo Amituofo, every thought you hold becomes an auspicious thought, aligning your heart with the wisdom of the Buddha.

The anxiety that often dwells within your heart can be transformed into profound peace. Even when epidemics, plagues, and various disasters arise in the world, the Auspicious Land serves as a sanctuary. Here, heavy karmic burdens are lightened, and through the compassionate Buddha's , these burdens can be dissolved entirely. We must understand that these global challenges are the result of our Collective . To recognise that every cause leads to a corresponding effect is to grasp the Truth of our existence.

The Presence of the Universal Buddha

The auspicious beings residing within the clouds appear alongside the sun and the moon, manifesting morning and night to guide us. Heavenly beings and the light clouds scatter auspicious signs across the vast sky, reminding us of the grace that surrounds us. The Universal Buddha, Namo Amituofo, truly abides in this place, making it a truly Auspicious Land. At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia, Practitioner Su has realised the priceless nature of . By leading the Fragrant Light forward, the wisdom of Prajna arises within the oneness of all, guiding us toward our true self.

A Collective Mission of Deliverance

Saving infinite suffering beings is a task of great magnitude, and one must approach it with wisdom and . We are supported by many great masters and virtuous ones who accompany us on this journey, assisting in the salvation of beings in ways that are truly beyond imagination. Our mission is supported by the following:

  • Protectors: Skanda and the Sangharama protect the Dharma, ensuring the temple remains a place of purity.
  • The Fourfold Assembly: Monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen walk the path of the Buddha together in unity.
  • Spiritual Deliverance: Spirits and are helped through to enter the Western Pure Land, where they may chant the name of Namo Amituofo and enter directly into the Buddha-light.

Through such pure practice, one eventually sees their true self. This is the pure land of the Tathagata, a place where all beings may leave suffering behind and find eternal happiness. We encourage you to continue your practice with sincerity, knowing that the light of Namo Amituofo is always with you.
