The Presence of Namo Amituofo in Australia
At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, located in the human world of Australia, Namo Amituofo truly resides. While it is said that Namo Amituofo is the Abbot, and Bodhisattvas Avalokiteshvara and Mahasthamaprapta serve as the administrators, the one who manifests in a human body to teach, resolve conflicts, and deliver sentient beings is the awakened being, Practitioner Su.
Practitioner Su remains with the fourfold assembly twenty-four hours a day. He is the one who constantly offers reminders, provides supervision, and cares for the disciples. Though he is known as a true spiritual friend, he acts with of a Buddha to save beings in this world and throughout the Realm.
The Constant Battle and the Light of Deliverance
At every moment, the physical body of Practitioner Su is subjected to spells cast by demonic beings. Yet, he remains steadfast. He uses the Twelve Lights to deliver these demonic beings and subdue them, guiding them into the Western Land of Dharma Nature. His schedule is incredibly demanding:
- He delivers lectures on the Dharma every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. He leads the fourfold assembly in the every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Even when he closes his eyes to allow his physical body to rest, it is typically for only two hours. Despite this, the energy and vitality within his body far exceed that of the fourfold assembly. One might wonder, from where does this energy originate?
The Source of Boundless Vitality
His energy is extraordinary, derived from profound spiritual sources:
- It comes from the manifestation of his Buddha-nature and the bright, pure light of his body.It comes from a Buddha-heart that bears the suffering of all beings without a single complaint or regret. It comes from the Buddha-vow to save countless suffering beings, including the demonic beings who are also among the suffering.
This is the energy found within the Buddha-light, the Buddha-heart, and the Buddha-vow. Furthermore, he receives the added support and blessing of Namo Amituofo upon his human form. His vitality is sustained by the constant need to deliver the demonic beings who attack him, and by his commitment to lecturing on the Dharma without interruption, for the number of those listening is immeasurable and boundless.
A Vast Audience Across the Ten Directions
The audience for Practitioner Su’s lectures is truly inconceivable. It includes:
- Celestial beings and sages from the Four Sacred Realms. The King of the Hells and the prison guards of the underworld.Sentient beings from the ten directions who have come to the temple to participate in the Dharma assemblies and receive .Countless beings already in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, as well as demonic beings who have been subdued.Sentient beings with karmic affinity who are reached when Practitioner Su’s opens up spaces during the process of Chao Du.Demonic beings from the Earth, the universe, the Milky Way, and beyond, including those from other realms who come to attack him with spells but remain to listen to the sutras, or who are preparing to surrender.Lonely wandering spirits from all directions and from within Australia. The massive salvation team composed of the fourfold assembly of the temple.
It is truly inconceivable that such an immeasurable number of beings listen to Practitioner Su’s lectures. His teaching provides substantial and immense help to the spiritual realms, allowing them to receive Buddhist education, purification, and Chao Du.
The Responsibility of the Fourfold Assembly
In the human world, beyond the fourfold assembly, there are many people who have come to know the Buddha’s teachings, Namo Amituofo, and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss through the internet, the distribution of the Dharma Jewel, and by listening to Practitioner Su’s lectures. The primary figures engaged in this actual teaching and spreading of the Dharma are Practitioner Su, the fourfold assembly, and the Dharma protectors.
Through this, the fourfold assembly comes to understand that they, like Practitioner Su, bear the heavy responsibility of spreading the Dharma, saving beings, resolving conflicts, and performing Chao Du. This is a duty that every member of the fourfold assembly must shoulder. Practitioner Su lives such a busy life every day, which is why he proposes that one should live as if one day is two, dedicating this deep heart to all the dust-motes of the universe. He not only leads by example but also encourages the fourfold assembly to act in this way, which is the Faith, Vows, and Practice that is in sync with the Buddha. Namo Amituofo.
