The Resonance of the in the Hells
During the , the profound teachings of Namo Amituofo and Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju are brought forth to guide all beings. When Practitioner Su interprets these sacred teachings during the ceremony, the resonance of the Dharma is so powerful that it reaches even the deepest realms of existence. The Kings of the Ten Halls of the Hells and the hell jailers who serve within those dark domains are able to hear these words of truth. In a recent manifestation of this boundless , Practitioner Su was able to guide sixty of these hell jailers to be reborn in the of Ultimate Bliss, transcending their former roles to find peace.
The teachings of Namo Amituofo and Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, along with the daily lectures delivered by Practitioner Su, are intended for all beings who are currently awaiting judgment in the halls of Yama or suffering within the various hell realms. It is our sincere hope that these beings, who are often lost in the darkness of their own past actions, will be able to hear and internalise the message of the Buddha.
Healing the Wounds of Resentment
Those who reside in the halls of Yama are often consumed by intense emotions that cloud their ability to receive the truth. They are frequently driven by:
- Deep-seated resentment that has festered over countless lifetimes.
- A profound sense of injustice regarding their past experiences.
- An inability to listen to kind words because their hearts are hardened by pain.
Even when they do hear the Dharma, it is difficult for the message to penetrate their hearts. However, if these beings can hear the compassionate words of Practitioner Su before they face their judgment, a transformation becomes possible. By hearing teachings on forgiveness, the reality of the laws of and cause and effect, and the necessity of compassion and Wisdom, they may begin to find a way out of their suffering. They must come to understand the true nature of their predicament, specifically the cycle of and how it continues to grow and consume beings without pause.
The Compassionate Bridge of Practitioner Su
When these beings hear the Dharma, they are given a precious opportunity to calm their anger and settle their turbulent minds. This process of purification allows their spirits to let go of the hatred that has bound them to the hells, providing them with the means to leave suffering behind. By engaging in the practice of chanting Namo Amituofo and reflecting upon their own past mistakes, they can begin to repent. This sincere repentance not only eases the burden on their own spirits but also helps to pacify the atmosphere within the halls of Yama, improving the quality of the judgment process and serving as a powerful warning to others.
The suffering within the hells is truly beyond description. If these beings can hear the teachings of Practitioner Su, they can learn the power of chanting Namo Amituofo to find relief from their agony. Practitioner Su is able to perform this vital work because he is an awakened being and his is connected to the entire Dharma Realm. Because his affinity with all beings is so vast, his teachings and his voice can reach the hell jailers and the Kings of the Ten Halls, allowing the light of Buddhist education to penetrate even the darkest corners of the universe.
A New Dawn for Suffering Beings
It is a great blessing for the spirits in the hells to be able to hear the teachings of the Pure Land. When they are exposed to the Dharma, they are no longer left to wander in the darkness of their own making. Through the guidance provided by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the message of Namo Amituofo reaches every corner of the Dharma Realm. We pray that all beings, no matter how deep their suffering, may find the path to liberation and eventually reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
