Reflections from the Western Land of Dharma Nature

This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Dr. Wu Xiangda, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Nature. This account reflects upon his life as a medical doctor in Taiwan and his subsequent to the truth of the Dharma. Recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on April 12, 2026.

Wu Xiangda speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for granting me this precious opportunity to speak from the Western Land of Dharma Nature. To be able to share these words with the people of the world—it is truly a miraculous experience, beyond anything I could have imagined!

The high-tech nature of the Buddha's teachings at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is so easily demonstrated, yet most people in the world remain completely unaware of it. Every one of us here in the Western Land of Dharma Nature frequently applauds and marvels at the high-tech education brought to humanity by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, Namo Amituofo, and Practitioner Su. We are deeply moved by it.

The Barrier of the Physical Body

People of the world, because of the limitations and obstructions of your physical bodies, you are unable to truly open your eyes to understand the absolute truth of reality. I do not blame you; in fact, for most people in the world, these matters are still entirely foreign. If you look around, I am not even sure if one in a hundred people has heard of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, let alone had the opportunity to believe in it.

The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre must enter the hearts of the people, just as Namo Amituofo must be brought to the forefront of the world's attention. I, Wu Xiangda, believe that in this twenty-first century—a world filled with war, peace, and all sorts of chaotic scenes—people may seem to live in conditions of economic prosperity, but their hearts are actually filled with pain and anxiety. Given this situation, the people of this era are in even more desperate need of the Buddhist education provided by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

A Doctor's Humble Confession

I am Wu Xiangda. Today, Practitioner Su called upon me, saying that I am a well-known figure with specialized expertise, and that I could provide some direction and guidance on how to 'influence society to recognize the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.' To be honest, I feel quite ashamed. In society, I was not a famous celebrity; I was simply a dedicated doctor who performed his duties with integrity.

I was born in Taiwan and spent a long time practicing medicine in the central and southern regions. At the time, I had a good reputation, and I helped many people resolve various difficult and complicated physical ailments. Although many people still lost their lives under my care, this was simply the limitation of medicine; I could not truly help everyone resolve all their illnesses. I did my absolute best to help people alleviate the physical suffering they endured before death. If a person's lifespan had not yet reached its end, perhaps they had a chance to survive and begin a different life.

The Limits of Medical Science

Although I was a doctor, I also believed in fate. I had no religious background; I simply held the view that medicine was not the only way to solve all difficult illnesses. From a scientific perspective, I did what I could within the scope of my abilities. However, I also believed in the principle that 'everyone has their own destiny.' At the time, I had not delved deeply into any religion or philosophy, so I did not have a true understanding of such teachings.

As a doctor, I ended up passing away on the operating table myself. It is quite embarrassing to admit. I had solved the difficult problems of so many others, yet when it came to my own death, I was helpless, left to be slaughtered by fate. This is a very common situation in the world; it did not happen to me alone. Many doctors around me left this world even earlier than I did. I witnessed many truths in the medical field and knew that the extent of what medicine can achieve is only so much.

The Complexity of Modern Illness

People assume that because modern medicine is more advanced, the suffering caused by illness should be less. Although I was a doctor in the last century and my knowledge was far behind modern technology, to be honest, the situation I see now from the Western Land of Dharma Nature is quite the opposite. People think that because the technology of the last century was not as advanced and medical equipment was not as good as it is today, the treatment of many diseases was limited. However, the general conditions of patients back then were much simpler than they are now; they were not as complex as they are today.

I have been gone from the human world for about thirty years. After graduating from the National Taiwan University College of Medicine, I worked in the medical field until I passed away. Over that long period, the various situations I witnessed in the medical system left a deep impression on me. At that time, the rate of illness was not as high as it is today, and the level of suffering was not as intense. Of course, in terms of medical complexity, the conditions of patients back then were not as baffling as they are now. Looking at the state of patients in today's society from the perspective of a doctor and with the eyes of technology, it is far more complex than it was in my time.

The Root Cause: The Mind and

However, since arriving in the Western Land of Dharma Nature and learning the Buddhist education of Namo Amituofo, I have come to understand that the main reason people get sick is that they have not corrected their character. My heart finally found the answer. The cause of illness comes from the human heart; the quality of one's heart is the most important factor affecting the health of one's body. This profound education is visible at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, which makes healing one of its important guiding principles.

The world generally believes that illness is merely the damage, deterioration, or mutation of cells in . But people do not know what kind of beings are inside those cells, nor do they know that there can be so many karmic creditors and various types of beings living within the human body. This is an astonishing fact that can be unraveled at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, allowing the world to view the truth of reality from a highly scientific perspective. Looking around the world, only the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can achieve this, because Namo Amituofo is residing here, and Practitioner Su has truly awakened to his true nature and achieved the . Only by having such clear vision can one know the condition of the world's people, and even the changes in every single cell of the body, to make such major discoveries public to the world.

A Call for Scientific Recognition

I must admit that as a professional in the medical field, my exploration of spirituality was far too weak. What we saw was only the very surface—the parts visible to the physical eye. But everything that the physical eye cannot see, which medicine cannot explain and science is unwilling to admit, can be completely presented through the Buddha's teachings.

People get sick because of the interference of karmic creditors and demons. If it were not for Practitioner Su, who has awakened to his true nature here, and Namo Amituofo, who has informed the world of this, I fear that no matter how many Buddhist groups were established, no one could reach such a subtle, high-tech level of investigation.

Since I arrived in the Western Land of Dharma Nature and truly understood this high-tech, I have been overjoyed. My heart keeps thinking: If I were still in the world, if I still had a human body, in what way could I express this to the world? As a doctor, what more could I do to save everyone—not just their lives, but to elevate their spirituality and truly move toward the goal promoted by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre: 'free from aging, free from illness, and your spirit does not die'? The answer I found in my heart was this: This matter must cause a real sensation in the medical field, allowing important figures in the technology and medical sectors to truly be convinced by the high-tech of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

This relies on Practitioner Su, who carries the healing skills of Namo Amituofo, to help the world resolve the difficult and complicated illnesses that medicine cannot solve. Although the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre does not currently have such a large-scale method of operation, if a few key figures could be treated by Practitioner Su, it would be a start.

The target audience for recruitment should include: (a) Influential figures in society; (b) Heads of large corporations or wealthy individuals; (c) Influential media figures and social leaders.

The operational method and purpose: (a) Through the influence of such people, they can spread the word from one to ten, and ten to a hundred, telling the world that the Buddha is residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, that he can heal illnesses, and that he can achieve the state of being free from aging, free from illness, and that the spirit does not die. (b) The merit offerings for healing can be truly returned to the world, given to Namo Amituofo to be used for building temples, expanding the Centre, and recruiting and training talent.

Therefore, I have also seen Practitioner Su mention in many of his lectures that he hopes influential people will come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre for healing. In this way, while they help with the expansion and construction of the temple, they can also make this good deed public to the world in a more convincing way.

Because people are deeply mired in ignorance and afflictions, it is difficult for them to believe in the healing skills of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, Namo Amituofo, and Practitioner Su based on just a few words. To put it plainly, it is the skill of resolving the karmic creditors within people's bodies, which is hard for them to believe. But if influential people in society are willing to come here and try it, and then announce it to the world, this step-by-step verification will allow the world to truly understand the high-tech of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

All the answers are actually clearly presented before the eyes of the world. The invitation of spirits conducted by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre must be undertaken by someone like Practitioner Su, who has awakened to his true nature. Moreover, Practitioner Su is not only diligent in his practice of awakening, but because of his own vow, he has received the assistance of Namo Amituofo to establish the Western Land of Dharma Nature—a Buddha-land where all the beings invited from within the body can go, so they do not have to wander in the world.

This skill, unknown to the world, must be gradually spread by well-known figures in society who are willing to help promote the temple, so that it can truly enter the hearts of the people on a large scale. I am currently exploring this matter based on my own medical experience and my many years of experience in society. After being purified in the Western Land of Dharma Nature for a period of time, I deeply understand what society currently needs and how the high-tech provided by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre should be combined to achieve the best results."

As a doctor born and raised in Taiwan, I have maintained from the very beginning that Taiwan is currently the best location for the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to expand its reach. This is a precious land where a relatively large number of people have an affinity for Buddhism. Even for those who are not strictly devout, the proportion of people in Taiwan who have the opportunity to encounter and believe in the teachings of Buddhism is significantly higher compared to other parts of the Chinese-speaking world.

A Fertile Ground for Dharma

Taiwan is a society with a high degree of freedom in its systems and religious culture. Given the abundance of resources available here, if the education provided by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre—especially the information regarding how to resolve the difficult and complex illnesses of the world—could be promoted in a more extensive and comprehensive manner, the impact would be profound. Even if only one or two people out of every hundred or thousand were to believe and be willing to try these methods, that in itself would be a truly remarkable achievement.

Furthermore, the roots of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre are in Taiwan. Therefore, in terms of both resources and personal connections, it will be far more convenient and direct to operate here than anywhere else. The people at the temple possess a much deeper understanding of the various promotional strategies and local considerations in Taiwan compared to other regions. Consequently, I, Wu Hsiang-ta, believe that the possibility of taking root in Taiwan and then moving out to the world is indeed much higher than starting the expansion elsewhere.

Reaching the Younger Generation

Additionally, I believe that promoting these teachings among university students in Taiwan is a channel well worth considering. This is because the proportion of university students in Taiwan is very high, and these young people generally possess a richer background in social and international knowledge. Their reading and comprehension skills are strong, and their ability to receive and process information from various fields is quite rapid. If we can successfully promote these teachings within the student body and help influential individuals with their health issues, the word-of-mouth spread from one campus to another would create an immense ripple effect. At the same time, this could also recruit young students to enter the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to practice, which is truly a case of killing two birds with one stone.

Taiwanese university students have many of their own social media platforms and online forums for discussion. These spaces allow the public to learn about the techniques of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in saving the world and healing illnesses. Those who have the karmic affinity will naturally continue to explore and digest these teachings, subsequently packaging this information in ways that are more accessible to the general public, thereby spreading it on a massive scale.

The Credibility of Countless Deliverances

I believe that Practitioner Su is absolutely correct: the fact that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can guide spirits to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly unique and of paramount importance. This is something that can genuinely help people leave suffering behind, and it must be promoted vigorously. Although a single case might not be enough to fully convince everyone, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has already facilitated the rebirth of hundreds, if not thousands, of spirits. This includes many famous historical figures, as well as individuals from the social, political, and entertainment spheres, all of whom have been guided by Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Therefore, looking at these numerous cases, this is the most effective way to greatly enhance the credibility of our mission.

I have said quite a lot, and I am not sure if it is of any help to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and Practitioner Su, but I hope Practitioner Su can listen to my humble opinions. If you need me, Wu Hsiang-ta, to provide more, please let me know at any time; I am always here waiting.

A Heartfelt Journey to the Light

I am filled with gratitude for the great kindness and virtue of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. Ever since I was in the vast sea of humanity, trapped in a space of suffering, Practitioner Su brought the to the very place where I was—the hospital where I resided at the time—to perform the . My spirit followed that light and entered into it.

Following that, I arrived in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. I have always been deeply grateful for this. The wish to express my gratitude has now been fulfilled, which brings me great in my heart.

Gratitude to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su.

Namo Amituofo.

Wu Hsiang-ta

Fa Ning: May I ask, Wu Hsiang-ta, do you still have any family members or acquaintances in the world? You may contact them and ask them to speak with you.

Wu Hsiang-ta: My parents have passed away, and my siblings have also passed on. I never married, so I have no children. However, there might be some young doctors from back then who still vaguely remember me; I cannot be certain. I came from the Kaohsiung Municipal Hospital.
