In this reincarnated world, we are often like wanderers lost in a thick fog. We spend our entire lives searching for something that will last, something that will provide us with a sense of security and permanence. We long for a foundation that will not crumble, yet we look for it in the wrong places.

The Mirage of the Reincarnated World

We seek eternity in fleeting emotions, in the accumulation of wealth, in the pursuit of fame, and in the attainment of high social status. Yet, what is the result of this outward search? We often find ourselves burdened by the heavy weight of . We stumble, we fall, and we suffer, leaving our hearts bruised and our spirits wounded. Sometimes, life delivers a harsh blow to wake us from our slumber, yet we remain lost, failing to realise the truth of our situation.

The Fragility of Fleeting Bubbles

True eternity cannot be found in the external world. It is not found in the physical body, in material possessions, or in the fleeting recognition and approval of others. Everything we pursue in the outside world is as transient as a bubble floating on the surface of a stream. It arises due to causes and conditions; when those conditions fade, the bubble bursts and vanishes into nothingness.

My dear child, you must understand that everything you chase externally—the beginning, the process, and the final result—is ultimately illusory. You must awaken to this reality. Do not take these things to heart, and do not become overly attached or deeply invested in them. The world is constantly changing; the exact same bubble will never appear again. If you insist on clinging to these things, you will only invite more suffering and pain into your life. All you will be left with is a sense of emptiness, a past that has already slipped away and can never be reclaimed.

The Eternal Radiance of the True Self

Only your true self is eternal and unchanging. It is the only thing worth seeking. It is the only destination that truly matters. Therefore, you must turn your gaze inward. Through diligent practice, you can rediscover the brilliance of your original nature. This is the path to true liberation and lasting peace.

This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe, who serves as the chief writer.
