The Extraterrestrial Pilgrimage to Earth

This is a record of an interview with Venerable Jingde, the 590th being to share his testimony, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon the cosmic events occurring around the year 2018. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fajing, on July 6, 2018.

Venerable Jingde speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. The skies above Earth have become increasingly bustling in these recent days. Every single day, unidentified flying objects, spacecraft, and various types of extraterrestrial transport vehicles descend upon your planet. Their space is not the same as the Earth's; they exist in a dimension higher than yours. Because of this, the physical eyes of human beings cannot perceive them. However, they can easily arrive on Earth, effortlessly passing through the physical bodies of humans, and even attaching themselves to people. These successive waves of extraterrestrial visitors harbour no malice. They are simply curious about Earth—this magical, miraculous planet. In the vastness of the entire universe, your world is particularly dazzling, exceptionally bright, and possesses an incredibly powerful energy. That is why they have come here, one after another, to seek treasure.

The Cosmic Reach of Practitioner Su

The Dharma Body of Practitioner Su performs Chao Du throughout the universe. While the time spent on this work might seem like an hour on Earth, in the cosmic dimension, it is but a fleeting moment—like a sudden flash of golden light. In that instant, he swiftly guides immeasurable and boundless numbers of planets toward their new destination. Some planets, not yet reached by this deliverance, feel immense curiosity. They communicate with one another in various extraterrestrial languages, exploring the source of this powerful force. The energy is so vast that it is sufficient to transform the entire universe. They perceive the changes occurring throughout the cosmos with absolute clarity, and so they have come to Earth, one by one, to investigate the truth of it all.

How should I describe this group of fascinating planets? Let us say they have come to Earth to 'study the Dharma'! In their own worlds, the Buddha’s teachings have never existed. Earth, however, is the sacred ground of the Dharma. The Chao Du performed by the Dharma Body of Practitioner Su is enough to convince them of the vastness and profundity of the Buddha’s teachings. When they arrive on Earth to investigate and realise that all of this is the power of practising the Buddha’s teachings, they are overjoyed beyond measure. It is as if they have discovered a priceless treasure. They are busily inputting the sacred name of 'Namo Amituofo' into the memory banks of their own beings, preparing to carry this Buddha-name back to their own planets. They intend to change their planetary banners, removing all the colourful, chaotic patterns of the past and replacing them with the sacred name of Namo Amituofo.

A Pilgrimage for the Sacred Name

Planets that were once scattered and isolated are now linked together by this single Buddha-name. They share a common goal: to allow the Buddha’s teachings to flourish within their worlds. Now, they are actively coming to Earth to study. They pass messages to one another: 'The land of Australia on Earth is precisely the station where Namo Amituofo resides. The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia is the base for the development of the Dharma and the centre for its exchange. It is constantly expanding, and the energy currently radiating through the universe is emanating from this very place.' As this news spreads to planets across the cosmos, they are all struck by the inconceivable nature of the Buddha’s teachings. Every day, when Practitioner Su gives his Dharma talks, extraterrestrials arrive to learn. They bring powerful amplifiers, recording every word and sentence spoken by Practitioner Su, inputting them into their machines, and broadcasting them synchronously throughout their entire planets. Finally, they manufacture these recordings into chips, which are then widely circulated across their worlds.

The Transformation of Cosmic Darkness

Practitioner Su spreads positive energy throughout the universe, and the transformation of the cosmos is something all extraterrestrial beings have witnessed with their own eyes. Originally, there were many 'black zones' in the universe. The extraterrestrials were all aware of these areas; they were the gathering places for the most evil forces in the cosmos. These evil energies had existed for a very long time. Even though they knew they would eventually face karmic retribution, they continued to commit countless evil deeds. They launched powerful evil thoughts, spreading them throughout the universe, absorbing all cosmic spirits who harboured similar malevolence. They gathered together like a massive, dark sphere. As they absorbed more and more spirits, this black sphere grew increasingly formidable. The spirits drawn into this sphere were all those in the universe who carried evil intentions. What is particularly notable is that some of the most vulnerable and marginalised groups in the universe were also drawn into this black sphere. I call them 'vulnerable' because they had suffered endless bullying from the powerful forces in the universe, forcing them to hide in the darkest corners of the cosmos.

The Path of Universal Goodness

There are many planets in the universe on the verge of destruction that became their temporary shelters. They were like the homeless of the cosmos, drifting everywhere, searching for planets uninhabited by other beings, suffering immensely. When that evil energy broadcast its malice throughout the universe, these desperate, vulnerable beings felt deeply understood and protected. They absorbed all those evil views and distorted perspectives, becoming even more wicked. Their evil power became even greater than that of the original evildoers. They joined this black sphere and committed every imaginable evil throughout the universe, roaming without any discipline. From being the weak, they suddenly became the powerful. Many planets and spirits feared them. Yet, while they appeared arrogant and overbearing, their hearts were filled with incomparable pain. Only by committing these evil acts could they maintain a foothold in the universe. Within their spirits, seeds of goodness still remained, but they forced themselves to use even greater evil to mask their true nature. They were suffering greatly.

The golden light brought by Practitioner Su injects an abundance of positive energy into the entire universe. Those who were once wanderers, the marginalised, and eventually the most evil, have all been moved by this powerful force of Goodness. It has stirred the original nature of goodness within their hearts. They now understand that in the universe, besides committing evil, there is another path they can choose: the path of practising Goodness. At this moment, the blackness on their bodies is gradually fading. They are quietly withdrawing from the influence of the black sphere, hiding in the corners of the universe, waiting for that daily flash of golden light. They follow the chanting of 'Namo Amituofo' and join the ranks of those practising Goodness.

Now, the power of Goodness in the universe has begun to contend with the forces of evil. These vulnerable beings no longer need to force themselves to rely on those evil powers. They understand that only practising Goodness is the righteous path. Only by practising Goodness can one truly stand firm in the universe. If one insists on doing evil, they will only bring about their own destruction, being sucked into the endless abyss to face their karmic retribution. The positive energy brought by Practitioner Su is becoming increasingly powerful throughout the universe. Many planets that were once a mixture of good and evil have begun to turn entirely towards pure Goodness. This trend of transformation is now flourishing across the cosmos, and vast amounts of energy are being transmitted throughout the universe. The power of the Buddha’s teachings is truly this immense. It is just waiting for the human world to resolve to spread the vastness of the Dharma, and in one leap, it will reach the furthest corners of the universe. The breadth of spreading the Dharma lies in the vastness of one's mind-capacity; the depth of spreading the Dharma lies in the profound compassion for saving sentient beings. Now, planets across the universe have lit their Buddha-lamps, illuminating the darkness of the entire cosmos. It is clear that the future belongs to the flourishing of the Buddha’s teachings, with Namo Amituofo present everywhere. Namo Amituofo."
