The First Aborted Spirit of Lay Practitioner Wang Reborn
An Interview with the Spirit of an Aborted Child
Recorded at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre
This is a record of an interview with the spirit of the first aborted child of Lay Practitioner Wang, who sought spiritual deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. The child now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This interview was recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on February 27, 2026.
The Spirit of the Child speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am your child, Mother. Today, I have been reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss! I have come to express my deepest gratitude to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. I also want to bring you this good news, Mother, so that you can finally set your heart at ease—I am truly living a wonderful life now!"
From the Depths of Hell to the Light of Buddha
"This time, I have finally escaped from that world of suffering. I never imagined that the Buddha would come to save me. After I left your body, Mother, my past sins were simply too heavy. I fell straight into the hells to suffer retribution in hell. Back then, my heart was filled with such intense resentment. Because my thoughts were so clouded, I endured suffering for such a long, long time. But I do not feel wronged. The laws of and cause and effect are exactly as they are. Here in the Western Land of Nature, I can see everything clearly now. I realise that all the bad things I did in the past eventually returned to me. Throughout your many lives, I have committed many wrongs, so the suffering I endured over these years was something I had to repay. After my heart was purified by the Buddha-light, it has become so much calmer. The resentment I once held is gone."
A Home in the Western Land
"Mother, thank you. I was already very happy in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are so compassionate; they are so kind to me, and they treat everyone with the same love. This place is far more beautiful than your world, Mother—it is something you could hardly imagine. I believe that one day, you will also return to this beautiful world, so I am not worried at all. The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is our home—our eternal home for the future."
The Magic of the Buddha's Power
"This magnificent experience has helped me grow up so much in an instant. It turns out that the power of the Buddha is truly miraculous. In a single moment, I felt as if I had grown several years older. And after listening to Practitioner Su’s Dharma talks, I felt even more transformed. I listened very earnestly, and I chanted the Buddha-name with great sincerity. With every single recitation, my heart became so peaceful and beautiful. I truly hope that you can be like me, Mother—listen to more Dharma talks, perform more prostrations, and chant the Buddha-name more often. Especially when you are walking on the road, please keep chanting. From here, I can see the place where you live and all the places you pass by—they are filled with wandering spirits! They are so pitiful. Without the Buddha-name, they cannot escape their own space. If you can chant more, Mother, and chant for them, or perform spiritual deliverance through visualisation, you would be doing so many good deeds. They would then have a chance at rebirth!"
Gratitude and Peace
"Seeing your world, Mother, I no longer feel any attachment to that place I never truly got to experience. I used to regret that I could not be your child, but now, my heart is filled only with gratitude. I am grateful to the Buddha, and I am grateful to you, Mother. Most of all, I am grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for giving us poor, suffering children a home—a place in the Buddha-world."
"Namo Amituofo."
