The Fleeting Dew of Existence

Life is but a fleeting dream, as impermanent as the morning dew. When the first light of dawn appears, the dew forms, rolling across the surface of a leaf before slipping away to the ground. In an instant, it vanishes without a trace. Where does the dew go? It evaporates into the vastness of space.

Caught in the Endless Wheel of Reincarnation

Within the water molecules, it may gather into clouds or fall as rain. Or, it may condense once more as dew at dawn, beginning yet another life. This endless cycle of flowing and returning is exactly like the cycle of reincarnation. Our physical lives are uncertain and fragile, driven by the momentum of our past actions.

We are driven by our , coming and going, finding it difficult to break free. These water molecules are like our own spirits. Because of the obstacles that manifest and the weight of our heavy karma, we remain trapped in this cycle.

The Sacred Name as the Only Refuge

The only path to salvation is the sacred name of Namo Amituofo. By chanting the sacred name together, we can release ourselves from this space and transcend the physical body. How fortunate it is for all sentient beings to have this opportunity.

A Fortunate Convergence at the Buddha-land

Even those who are or spirits with spiritual attachments have encountered Practitioner Su and gathered here at this Buddha-land. With Namo Amituofo present before us, you must chant the name quickly. Let us all follow the Buddha and be reborn in the of Ultimate Bliss.

Recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
