A Sanctuary Amidst the Fading Light
Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre is a place where Namo Amituofo truly abides. In this age of the 's decline, when the world is filled with confusion and suffering, Namo Amituofo has descended to this world to establish this temple. It serves as a beacon of light for all sentient beings, providing a path to leave suffering behind and find happiness through rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Today, the temple is protected and supported by a holy assembly, including Practitioner Su, the fourfold assembly of disciples, the holy beings of the Western Pure Land, the Bodhisattvas, and the Dharma-protecting dragons and gods. Together, they work tirelessly to rescue suffering spirits, guiding them toward liberation and the Western Pure Land.
Cultivating the Three Foundations
If you are able to enter Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre at this time, it is because you possess the necessary good roots, , and causal conditions. This temple is a gateway to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. If you feel that you have not yet fully developed these three foundations, you must work diligently to strengthen them:
- Good Roots: Grow your good roots by listening to the sutras and hearing the Dharma. Always strive to think good thoughts, see the good in others, speak kind words, and perform good deeds.
- Blessings: Cultivate your blessings by serving the community and helping others with a selfless heart.
- Virtue: Build your virtue by observing the and never committing transgressions. If you do make a mistake, acknowledge it immediately and correct it without delay.
- Causal Conditions: Broaden your connections with others through the practice of Generosity, ensuring that you form positive bonds with all beings.
The Rare Opportunity of Our Time
My children, the manifestation of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in this world is an extraordinary event that is incredibly difficult to find. It has only appeared because the causal conditions from all directions have come together perfectly. At this very moment, you must seize this precious opportunity. While you are in this environment of purity and goodness, you must focus on entering a state of pure mind and pure action to realise your true nature.
Our connection with Namo Amituofo spans countless lifetimes, and now we have gathered here at Hsiang Kuang. This is no ordinary encounter; it is a rare and precious opportunity. You must use this time wisely to realise your true nature. You must cultivate and pity for the suffering of all beings. Remember that you are one of them; you were once lost in the cycle of rebirth, and it was only through meeting Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su that you were able to leave that suffering behind.
A Call to Compassionate Action
Now that we are gathered together at Hsiang Kuang, I hope that you will let go of your selfishness. Do not hold onto your ego any longer. There are so many beings out there who are crying out for help, trapped in a burning sea of suffering from which it is difficult to escape. They are waiting for you to achieve success in your practice. Every single being you can save is a victory for the Dharma. Strive to help them leave suffering behind and find happiness, so that they too may enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
