The Hidden Worlds Within a Painting

An Interview with Venerable Yongning

Venerable Yongning, a monastic residing at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, sought the guidance of Practitioner Su to witness the liberation of spirits from hidden dimensions. This interview, recorded on January 14, 2023, captures the Venerable's observations of how Practitioner Su’s deliverance reaches into the most concealed realms, including the layers of a wall painting, to save trapped sentient beings.

Venerable Yongning speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Many people have heard of Body deliverance, yet many others have not. The magnificence of Practitioner Su’s Dharma Body deliverance lies in his ability to manifest countless incarnations to enter various spaces, bringing out the sentient beings trapped within and helping them break free from the shackles of those dimensions. It is a profound process that transcends our ordinary understanding of reality."

The Boundless Reach of Deliverance

"Every time Practitioner Su enters a specific space, there are different beings waiting. Often, these are beings from the same location but existing in different time periods. For instance, the space at Mount Emei two years ago is different from the space there this year. Regardless, whenever Practitioner Su arrives at Mount Emei, a space naturally manifests—a space where karmically connected beings are waiting for deliverance. He enters immediately to perform the . As long as the beings are willing to seek deliverance, Practitioner Su is able to save them all.

Today, the space I witnessed was quite extraordinary. The golden light brought by Practitioner Su entered a mountain range. Within this mountain, there was a monastery. As the golden light illuminated the entire mountain, every space within it had the opportunity to be opened, including the monastery itself."

The Spirits Trapped in Art

"A monastery is a space in itself, but within that monastery, there exist many other distinct spaces. As soon as the golden light from Practitioner Su entered the monastery, a wall painting hanging inside immediately responded. This painting depicted a beautiful landscape and was hung in one of the monks' quarters; it appeared to be the work of a lay practitioner from the monastery. As I looked at the painting, I could immediately see that the artist was a lay practitioner who had been very satisfied with his work and had hung it on the wall.

When the painting felt the illumination of the Buddha-light, it became clear that there were spirits residing within the space of the painting. The entire mural was, in fact, a space filled with many spirits. Even the spirit of the lay practitioner who had painted it was still trapped inside. Because of this, during his lifetime, he would look at this painting every single day. The more he looked at it, the more satisfied he felt, but he was also sinking deeper and deeper into that space."

Layers of Confinement

"The space within the painting was incredibly deep, containing all sorts of spirits. These beings were trapped in the monastery space within the mountain space, and then further confined within the space of the wall painting. Within that painting, there were even deeper layers of space. They were trapped in spaces within spaces, with no opportunity to escape.

Once the Buddha-light arrived, many of the spirits within the painting rushed out, following the light. They all knew that this golden light could save them, so they flew forward rapidly, desperate to escape the landscape space of the painting. Many of them departed along with the Buddha-light."

from the Void

"The golden light brought by Practitioner Su also saved the spirits within the monastery itself. Many monastics were still attached to the space where they had been meditating. When they saw the Buddha-light, they finally awakened from their space and realised that they had been trapped within a dimension all along.

Practitioner Su performs Chao Du for many mountains every single day, and each mountain holds countless beings. When their Causal Conditions mature, these beings all have the opportunity to be saved by Practitioner Su, allowing them to leave their spaces and no longer be bound by them.

Every day, my horizons are broadened. I am filled with admiration as I watch Practitioner Su perform these deliverances, and I feel immense for the beings who have finally escaped their confinement. I truly hope that more people will cultivate their Dharma Body so that they, too, can save beings every day just as Practitioner Su does.

Namo Amituofo."
