On the day of the assembly, sentient beings from every corner of the universe arrived in immeasurable numbers, all seeking . The gathering was vast and boundless, extending far beyond what the physical eyes can perceive. Among those present were celestial beings from the heavenly realms, as well as the spirits of nature—the flower spirits, grass spirits, and tree spirits of the earth. There were also the spirits of various animals, including cattle, horses, and sheep, alongside countless beings from the Milky Way and the nine Dharma Realms. All had come with a singular hope: to leave suffering behind and find happiness.

The Boundless Gathering of Sentient Beings

Practitioner Su opened up space, allowing the countless spirits residing within the dimensions of existence to manifest. Their numbers were truly immeasurable and boundless, and they quickly filled the Buddha hall to capacity. Every single one of these beings yearned to enter the hall to receive the light of the Buddha. At this critical moment, the Dharma protectors, Sangharama and Skanda Bodhisattva, took their positions to maintain order and ensure the harmony of the space.

  • Celestial Beings: Those from the heavenly realms seeking a higher rebirth.
  • Nature Spirits: The spirits of the flora and fauna who have long awaited the light of the Dharma.
  • Animal Spirits: Beings who have suffered through the cycle of rebirth and now seek the of Namo Amituofo.
  • Galactic Beings: Countless spirits from the vast reaches of the Milky Way and beyond.

The Architecture of Infinite Space

The space within the Buddha hall is not limited by the constraints of the physical world. It exists in layers upon layers, constantly expanding and deepening to accommodate all who arrive. No matter how many beings gather, the space is always sufficient to hold them. Upon witnessing the boundless compassion of the Buddha and the radiant Buddha-light emanating from Practitioner Su, these spirits finally understood the truth. They realised that the of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia is truly a realm of infinite vastness.

As our Dharma protectors coordinated the order of the assembly, every spirit cooperated with full sincerity. They understood that this was a rare opportunity, difficult to encounter in millions of years, and they were eager to follow the guidance provided.

The Swift Deliverance of Practitioner Su

During the Dharma assembly, Practitioner Su performed the Dharma-Body Visualisation Deliverance. I witnessed how Practitioner Su utilised countless manifestations of the with perfect ease and precision. With just a single recitation of the Buddha-name, Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su was able to save all the beings present in the hall. As soon as the space was cleared, a new wave of countless spirits would immediately fill the void.

I was deeply astonished by the incredible speed at which Practitioner Su performed this Chao Du. Inspired by this, I, Sangharama, also manifested countless forms to assist in this sacred work. The mind-capacity of the Buddha is truly immeasurable and boundless, and the speed of this deliverance is beyond description. Because this work is so intense, it is inevitable that Practitioner Su sometimes faces the impact of the spirits' collective energy.

The Challenge of Karmic Attachments

During this recent rain-seeking Dharma-Body Visualisation Deliverance, the number of beings was overwhelming. I can only say that the scale of this Chao Du was immense. However, the mission to save the world cannot be limited by numbers. The beings from each Dharma Realm possess vastly different habits, and the disparity between them is significant. This is the reality of the cycle of rebirth: all beings possess the Buddha-nature, yet they remain unable to realise it due to their own deep-seated attachments and discriminations.

Among these spirits, there are also the of the fourfold assembly. These beings can only find a path to resolution after they have had the opportunity to listen to sutras and hear the Dharma. Many of these spirits have been deeply wounded and remain fixated on seeking revenge, demanding justice for the harms they have suffered. Those who have not listened to the Dharma sufficiently may act disrespectfully toward Practitioner Su. If they perceive that the person seeking deliverance has not been truly sincere, has not repented, or has not changed their ways, their resentment remains unpacified. They may then turn their focus toward Practitioner Su, demanding justice.

The Sacred Mission of Saving the World

In this particular instance, the beings affected by the rain-seeking visualisation included the countless insects, plants, trees, and even the very dust and soil of the Toowoomba and Goombungee regions. They all knelt together, chanting the Buddha-name and praying for rain. When these spirits saw the Buddha-light, they realised they could chant Namo Amituofo to seek rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. As Practitioner Su opened up space, these long-dormant beings moved in a chaotic rush, inadvertently causing harm to Practitioner Su, who was working tirelessly to save the world.

My speed was not enough to protect Practitioner Su in time, as the sheer force of the overwhelming crowd of beings was impossible to resist. Everything that occurred was a testament to the rarity of this encounter, a moment difficult to find in millions of years. Both Skanda Bodhisattva and I hold Practitioner Su in the highest respect and admiration. We shall continue to strive with renewed vigour, ensuring that we have the strength to keep pace with the noble work of Practitioner Su.

Namo Amituofo.
