The Hidden Multitude Within
Your entire body is filled with an infinite multitude of beings. It is truly difficult to describe in words, yet the evidence of their presence is undeniable. Throughout the long history of your many lifetimes, you have accumulated a body of infinite karmic weight. You have experienced countless cycles of warmth and cold, and sorrow, yet the Causal Conditions for your liberation have not yet fully matured. You remain bound by the dust of the world, tied up in knots of the heart. Because you lack the medicine of the , you find it difficult to understand the truth, and you remain obstructed by the emotions that cloud your spirit.
The Weight of Past
When we proclaim these True Teachings, we do so to explain the very purpose of your existence in this world. If you cannot clearly perceive this truth, it will be difficult for you to walk the path of liberation. Consider the time you have spent in this world: how many days have passed? How far have your actions reached? Why does your life feel so dark and heavy? It is because the light of your heart has lost its brilliance. Because of the thoughts you hold, the fruits of your actions follow you constantly.
You carry the responses of your past lives with you. If your personality matches that of the spirits you have harmed in the past, they will continue to seek balance. Regardless of time or space, like attracts like. Whenever your emotions flare up, you are essentially calling these spirits back to you. Have you ever wondered why your body does not collapse? Why your physical form does not succumb to illness? Why your shape does not wither away? It is because you are still sustained by the remnants of your past virtues, even as you struggle.
The Path of Compassionate Purification
Your practice is often inconsistent. Your chanting is not unified, your view is not aligned with the Right Way, and your actions do not follow the path of the Buddha. Why do you hide your true self? Why are your thoughts not in harmony with the Truth? You must learn to let go of the empty possessions of this world. The dust of confusion is difficult to extinguish, and the sins of the world are born from greed and desire. This is why it is so hard to see what is pure and right.
If you ask about the future, what is the correct path to take? If you ask about the end of your life, what is the right direction? You must understand why you are living in a dark room: it is because your heart is not clear. Because your heart is clouded by attachments, you cannot understand the meaning of the True Teachings. Because your heart is not yet aligned with goodness, you cannot grasp the essence of the Dharma.
The Call to Universal Deliverance
I have come today to explain these profound truths and to save you from your myriad sufferings. I ask that you listen closely. When you truly understand the meaning of these words, you will realise that the infinite beings within your body are all there because of your karmic thoughts. If you feel heavy, if your practice is unsettled, if your heart feels sunken, or if you feel that your strength is failing, it is often due to these . You must find peace and purity. Understand the truth, and truly repent for the mistakes of the past.
Do not be false or deceptive any longer. Your body contains an infinite multitude, and you have the power to guide these spirits, provided your heart is compassionate and gentle. You must truly think of the welfare of all beings, rather than just the survival of your own body. When your thoughts are selfish, you must return to a heart of true sincerity. When you are no longer clouded by time, you will be able to dedicate your strength to the True Teachings and proclaim them correctly.
The infinite multitude within you and the infinite spirits in the darkness are waiting. If you do not exert your effort, how can you accomplish the work of the path? People of this world must understand the hidden matters of the spirit. I proclaim this here, and I hope that you will all support this mission. By untying the knots of your heart and life, you will enable all beings to be reborn in the of Ultimate Bliss. By building the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre together, you are performing a collective act of merit. When your heart is aligned with the Right Way, your infinite merits will manifest, all your sins will be erased, and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss will be right before you.
