. I am Venerable Dixian, the humble pot-mender known to many for standing while chanting Namo Amituofo to achieve rebirth in the of Ultimate Bliss. Although I possessed the foresight to know the exact time of my departure from this world, I held onto a single, subtle attachment. This caused me to enter the twenty-seventh level of the Heavenly Realm instead of the Pure Land. It was only through the compassionate intervention and guidance of Practitioner Su that I was finally able to transcend that realm and reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Looking back, the entirety of my past life appears before me like a fleeting dream. In this dream, I experienced the various stages of human existence: the responsibilities of marriage and the raising of children, the transition into the monastic life, the dedication to teaching the to others, and the sincere effort to contribute to the Buddha's teachings. After that, I spent time in the Heavenly Realm. It was only upon returning to the Western Pure Land that I truly awoke from this long, complex dream.
You must realise that nothing in this world is worth your attachment. You cannot truly possess anything. Once you allow your heart to become moved by worldly desires and invest your entire being into them, you inevitably become trapped within the cycle of reincarnation. Unless your every action is performed for the sake of the Dharma, for the purpose of attaining true liberation, and without any concern for personal gain, you will remain lost. You must forget your own self and focus your efforts solely on being reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Only by achieving this can you ensure that your life has not been lived in vain.
The Radiance of Gratitude and the Growth of the Spirit
Living in the Western Pure Land, in such a beautiful and carefree environment, I feel a profound sense of gratitude that I can never fully repay. Therefore, I continue to study the teachings diligently before the Buddha. I do this to ensure that my spirit and my lotus grade continue to grow, shine, and radiate light.
I vow to continue this until I reach full Buddhahood, at which point I will return to the world to save all the beings with whom I have had a karmic connection. Like Practitioner Su, I must be able to endure the various trials and tests of the Five Turbidities and Evil World. I will persist until I realise my true nature, fully manifest my vow to save all beings, and return to my home in the West. Many beings from the Western Pure Land have descended into this world to help others. However, many have been unable to withstand the heavy temptations of the and . Consequently, they have been delayed in returning to their home in the West.
The Golden Path to the Western Pure Land
Today, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we are fortunate to see many such children of the West. Through the karmic affinity of Namo Amituofo’s presence in this world and the work of Practitioner Su, these beings are being revealed one by one. This is a great blessing for all sentient beings and for the people of this world. The path to the West requires a guide with clear vision who knows the way. Only such a guide can lead others onto the path, ensuring they walk steadily without taking a wrong turn, so they may complete their life's journey and enter the Western Pure Land.
Currently, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia is following the compassionate instructions of Namo Amituofo to build the Mituo Village for the people of this world. We need everyone to work together, contributing your resources and efforts to support the construction of this village. Those who have the heart to reside there will have the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is a once-in-a-thousand-years opportunity.
