The of Ultimate Bliss is a place of incomparable beauty and peace. It is a realm where the light of Namo Amituofo shines eternally, and it is a home that welcomes every being who sincerely seeks to return. I am Kao Chin-yen, and it has been a long time since I have had the opportunity to speak with you all. I am currently residing in the Western Pure Land, living a life of profound peace and clarity. Here, there is no need to worry about the complexities of the world or to be troubled by the endless fluctuations of the mind. My days are spent simply chanting Namo Amituofo and listening to the . It is a state of absolute freedom and ease.

Reflections from the Western Pure Land

Sometimes, I look back at the human world to see how things have changed. After observing the current state of affairs, I find it all to be incredibly complex and exhausting. I have come to realise that it is far better to remain here in the Western Pure Land. I have also been watching Practitioner Su, who works tirelessly to propagate the practice of chanting Namo Amituofo to help beings achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I feel a deep sense of admiration for this dedication. You are truly a wonderful disciple of Namo Amituofo, and your efforts are saving countless souls from the cycle of rebirth.

The Karmic Consequences of Attachment

When I first passed away, I did not immediately arrive here. Instead, I fell into the cycle of rebirth and became an ant. It was a life of constant, frantic activity, much like my younger years in the textile business—always moving, always carrying goods, always busy. I spent my days searching for food, hauling heavy loads into the colony, and then emerging to repeat the process over and over again. I was trapped in a cycle of endless, mindless labour, completely unaware of my own nature.

It was not until Practitioner Su called my name that a brilliant light descended, rescuing me from that colony of ants and bringing me to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Only then did I wake up and realise that I had died and been reborn as an ant. After listening to the teachings and chanting Namo Amituofo for a period, I was finally able to receive the guidance of Practitioner Su to reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is only because of this grace that I am here today, speaking to you all.

The Dream of Human Life

Why did I become an ant? Before I passed away, my mind was entirely consumed by the same patterns I had lived throughout my life. I was like an ant, constantly working, searching for new opportunities, and striving to expand my business empire. My spirit became so fixated on these thoughts that it was naturally drawn into of an ant. It is difficult for many to believe that such a thing could happen, but it is the absolute truth. As the former chairman of a great enterprise, I left behind a vast business, yet I could not take a single thing with me. Instead, my own attachments pulled me into the realm of insects.

Life is truly like a dream. You must learn to let go. Do not be overly concerned with worldly gains or losses; as long as you can live with a clear conscience and find peace in your heart, that is enough. The most important goal for your life is to ensure that you can reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss in your next life. If you achieve this, then your time in this human world has not been wasted. This is the sincere advice I, Kao Chin-yen, wish to offer you from the Western Pure Land.

An Invitation to the Mituo Village

Whether you consider yourself a formal practitioner of Buddhism or not, you should seize this opportunity with both hands. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a place of supreme beauty and , and it welcomes everyone who is ready to come home. Namo Amituofo.
