We are also here thanks to your good fortune. It is through the genuine, profound attainment of Practitioner Su that he has been able to guide so many of your close relatives to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. You must understand this grace and seek to repay such a kindness.

Beyond the Titles of the Human World

I am Huang Shaogu. In the human world, I held many titles, and being a former advisor to the Nationalist Government was merely one of them. However, those titles belong to the past. In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, such worldly designations hold no weight. What truly matters here are one's virtues, the depth of one's practice, and the capacity of one's heart. These are the factors that determine the different levels of the lotus grade one attains. The fastest way to elevate your lotus grade is to continuously improve your practice while you are still in the human world. If you keep elevating your state of mind, you will naturally be in sync with the Western Land. In time, you will attain the rank that your practice deserves. It may seem as though I am delivering a formal teaching, but once the conversation begins, these truths naturally flow forth. The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly beyond description in its magnificence.

The Reunion in the Western Land

Nini, it is your grandfather speaking to you. How fortunate we are, as descendants, to have this unique and inconceivable opportunity to receive my message so many years after my rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. In truth, many of our family members have already arrived here: your uncle, Huang Renzhong; your father, Hu Tongqing; and your mother, my beloved daughter, Huang Yanping. We were all guided to the Western Land by Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. This is a wonderful event, and you should rejoice and offer your praise. You must have faith. You are no longer young, and you have experienced many of the rights and wrongs, the grievances and debts of the human world. By now, you should have a clear standard within your heart to understand the truth of reality and to recognise the facts as they are.

A Grandfather’s Call to

In the past, we referred to him as Practitioner Su. However, because of his continuous, diligent practice and his success in performing to save infinite beings and guide them to the Western Land, we who reside in the Western Land now respectfully address him as Practitioner Su. We are here today thanks to your good fortune. Practitioner Su was able to bring so many of your relatives to the Western Land because he possesses genuine, proven attainment. You must understand this grace and repay this kindness, for such a debt is difficult to repay. The laws of and cause and effect, as well as the ultimate truth of reality, are not merely words spoken by human beings. The human heart is complex and often insincere. You must trust the standard you hold within your own heart. Do not blame your grandfather for speaking these words publicly. Firstly, you might doubt that the one speaking to you now is truly your grandfather; if that is the case, then there is no harm in speaking directly. Secondly, I do not wish for you to remain ignorant of the truth, or to hear of it and dismiss it as a fabrication. Nini, you must have faith.

Building the Mituo Village Together

Today, Practitioner Su wishes to construct a Mituo Village at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. This is a great vow and a vast undertaking that requires everyone to work together to complete. Nini, we in the Western Land hope to hear good news from you. We look forward to the day you come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to meet us.

This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
