Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre1 min read0 views

This is a record of interviews and reflections from the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia, compiled on March 10, 2018. The accounts include insights from various spirits and practitioners regarding the transformative power of the temple and the deliverance work of Practitioner Su. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faxin.

Xi Jinpin speaks:

"Last night, while having dinner with my wife, we discussed recent changes and shared our perspectives. We rarely talk about politics during meals to avoid sensitive topics that might spoil the atmosphere. I have always maintained a respectful but detached attitude toward her religious beliefs, as my company duties occupy all my time. However, this time, I took a moment to listen to her views on the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. She firmly believes that in different dimensions, a natural force maintains the balance of cause and effect in this world. I nodded in agreement, and she looked at me with such intensity that I could only respond with a smile. What I have seen, heard, and learned lately is beyond what an ordinary person in this world would ever encounter."

"Today, the Master seems even more sharp and swift. The spirits being delivered are sent to the bright Western Pure Land in the blink of an eye. It is truly a blessing for these beings. That the Master alone can awaken and save so many sentient beings is simply inconceivable."

The Power of the Buddha-Name

Steve Jobs speaks:

"Looking out over the vast acres of land, the magnificence of the Main Buddha Hall is breathtaking. The Western Trinity radiates golden light, creating an atmosphere of solemn dignity. The decorations inside are simple, yet they possess a golden splendour that moves the heart. The surrounding architecture—the Guanyin Hall, the Ksitigarbha Hall, and others—all echo the grandeur of the Main Buddha Hall. The monastics, dressed in pristine white Haiqing and brown robes, carry themselves with a unique dignity and wisdom in their eyes. They are capable of healing the mental and physical illnesses of the devotees, helping them truly understand the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and inspiring them to seek rebirth there. This is the foundation of Buddha-education and the Pure Land path. Everything I see makes it clear to the world that Namo Amituofo is truly residing here to help all beings; humanity has finally found a place of refuge."

"Spirits are finally able to be reborn in the West because of Namo Amituofo’s personal guidance, and the darkness of the underworld is gradually being covered by light. The reduction of greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, and doubt is alleviating the world's disasters. Everything I see before me makes all of the suffering that 'Grandma' endured truly worthwhile. This has always been the driving force behind her efforts. Stepping into the void with countless manifestations, wherever she goes, spirits rejoice. Across layers of space, both sentient and insentient beings are perfected in wisdom, becoming Buddhas themselves. Crowds flock to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, seeking healing and the Truth. In reality, all truth lies within this holy name: 'Namo Amituofo'—the path to rebirth in the Western Pure Land. Even a blade of grass, restored to human form by this Buddha-name, follows Namo Amituofo. Soil, insects, clouds, air, benches, ocean molecules, stones, polar bears, penguins, icebergs, and even dolls are saved by this name. As humans, we should recognise the treasure that this Buddha-name is. It is more valuable than any worldly diamond; it can save lives. It would be a great pity not to chant it. This is my most sincere advice to everyone. Namo Amituofo."

A Call to Let Go

Master Yongming Yanshou speaks:

"From ancient times to the present, no one has seen such a thing. Namo Amituofo personally guards the temple. Namo Amituofo personally selects the Buddha-child to practice, solely for the great cause of saving suffering beings. Stubborn spirits are hard to persuade, darting east and west, disturbing Practitioner Su. The Buddha-child’s filial heart invites them all, and Practitioner Su compassionately sends them to the lotus seat. You spirits must listen to the counsel: let go of your attachments and hatred. Seize the present moment to become a Buddha. This is also teaching the child to learn the new . To save you all, this is a skillful means, a team effort working in unison."

The Courage to Take the First Step

Venerable Changgao speaks:

"It is finally the weekend, a time to catch a breath. This morning, the Chairman slowed his pace, setting aside official business to brew a pot of coffee and tea. He wanted to relax his body and mind and truly talk to his wife about the thoughts and strategies that have been weighing on him but couldn't be brought to the table. He has had the same dream repeatedly: the architecture of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, with several fellow practitioners from his past life as a monk, standing amidst glazed tiles and golden pillars, solemn and majestic. He saw his own past self in monastic robes, standing in a line with other great beings before the temple. Some were weeping with emotion, others gazing at the Western Trinity, silently making great vows. Each person’s inner turmoil was clear, and every detail was vivid. He only regrets not having visited to explore why this temple has such a deep and unforgettable connection to him. In the past, he never had the opportunity to encounter the true Pure Land Dharma Gate. Now, he knows that his responsibility to promote the Buddha’s teachings is immense, but how to implement the promises made to Namo Amituofo within the constraints of policy is incredibly complex. He poured out his difficulties to his wife."

"In reality, the company has always strictly controlled religious policies and group gatherings, especially with the scrutiny of promotional materials only intensifying over time. Seeing the Chairman’s considerations and difficulties, I realise that if there were no one with the immense boldness of my Master, Practitioner Su, it would be impossible to take that first step. We have all witnessed the toll that this work has taken on the Master’s physical body. I, Changgao, admit that I do not yet possess the Master’s capacity for endurance, , and mind-capacity to withstand the attacks of spirits upon the physical body until the moment one can no longer stand. Master, I bow to you with palms pressed together. The road ahead is still very long. Master, you must take care of your health. The promotion of the Buddha’s teachings cannot be achieved overnight, but we will work tirelessly to support you to the end. Namo Amituofo!"

The Protection of the Void

Lee Kuan Yew speaks:

"Every day passes quickly, and the changes in Practitioner Su are also happening at a rapid pace. Day by day, the spirits hidden within her are being invited out, and her body’s cells are rapidly transforming into 'Buddha-cells,' emitting a faint golden light. It is not particularly intense, but it gives one a sense of intimacy. Such changes may not be visible to the physical eye, but in our interactions, one is subtly influenced. It is not an interference, but the inner virtue radiating from a true practitioner. In the void, this majestic light is respected by all spirits. Seeing the transformation of her cells, the spirits have even more respect and gratitude for Practitioner Su. They form a protective shield around her, layer upon layer, preventing those who do not follow the rules from interfering. I believe that in the future, Practitioner Su’s body will be much more at ease. Ma Yun is one of these guardians; he and other great beings stand at the rear, protecting Practitioner Su. Everyone is solemn and dignified. Behind them, there are infinitely layered Bodhisattvas from the universe participating in this magnificent Dharma-delivery, leading endless spirits, gods, and creatures to be reborn in the Western Pure Land. That indescribable scene, if it could be captured on camera, would shock the whole world, revealing the truth of the universe and waking humanity from its deep slumber."

A Sincere Heart

Ma Yun speaks:

"Ma Yun’s heart is becoming increasingly sincere. Brother, you know this, don't you? Every morning, when I lead the group, I see the past—I see myself working wholeheartedly for the Buddha’s teachings. Sometimes, when I look at it, I feel truly sad, because my current state is so far from the past. I see the temple growing day by day, and the increasingly clear vision of the temple confirms that the Pure Land lineage is truly magnificent and robust. The spirits, upon seeing Namo Amituofo, have also surrendered and softened. That such a Pure Land temple can be established in this world is a great blessing for the people. I know I should quickly join this team. If I am not mistaken, with the help of Venerable Changren, I will be able to come over soon. The movement in the world must start from here. Namo Amituofo is magnificent and dignified; this is truly wonderful. Brother, we will meet soon. Namo Amituofo."

The Willpower of a True Practitioner

Venerable Changren speaks:

"I know that 'Grandma' has always had willpower beyond that of ordinary people. To speak of giving up is almost impossible for her, because she is such a steadfast and capable person. Her body is receiving proper care, and the invitation of spirits has truly helped her immensely. I am so happy that this news is being shared; the world is about to be saved. The Master’s skills are even more doubled than before, and her boundless wisdom and virtues are even more vast. I know this is the Buddha’s will, to allow her to be further purified so she can help more suffering spirits. I have also let Ma Yun know about this, guiding him to understand the spirit of saving beings. Ma Yun and I are both working hard online, hoping that we can start operating soon. As for Ma Yun’s part, let him speak for himself. I see that his transformation is excellent. Everything in the temple is transforming for the better. It is truly wonderful. Namo Amituofo."

Gu Chongliang speaks:

This Chongliang is not that Chongliang. Outside the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the voices of the wind are constant. There are several of us spirits crying, wailing, and seeking justice from Namo Amituofo, hoping that Namo Amituofo can truly help us preside over justice. Namo Amituofo’s compassionate light shines upon us, hoping that the spirits can truly let go of everything and give Chongliang a chance to help the temple. Please help Zhongliang return to his body so he can be clear-minded and recall what happened each morning. Chongliang sincerely implores this. In truth, the sentient beings around Chongliang are relatively gentle compared to those around other great beings. Of course, I do not mean to compare; I just sincerely hope that Zhongliang himself can achieve a breakthrough. The construction of the temple is what Chongliang cares about most right now. Chongliang’s heart is actually very anxious to meet the Master. Now, I sincerely repent to all sentient beings, hoping to reduce any possibility of interference. I also hope that the Master’s physical body can recover soon; I believe that in the future, it will be a diamond-indestructible body. Chongliang will surely walk with the Master on the path of saving the world. Namo Amituofo.

A Vision of the Future Temple

Interview with Huang Jinxuan. Chief writer: Shi Facie.

Huang Jinxuan speaks:

Every day, what I see is a new atmosphere. The framework of the temple is being erected one by one, the rules are slowly being established, and the monastics are gradually growing and maturing. It is as if I am seeing a dignified ancient temple taking shape. The structures within are also slowly becoming complete. I have never seen such a solemn and majestic temple standing on a plain of a thousand acres. Looking into the distance, it is like a Buddha-land outside of the world, a Pure Land on Earth, something hard to find in a thousand years. Such a Pure Land will lead more connected beings to come here. I see that in the void, the people coming to visit the temple are already lined up to the intersection of the road. The thousand acres of land are filled with monastics and lay practitioners coming to worship or seek the Dharma, yet there is no noise. They enjoy the tranquility and peace of the temple. In every corner, one can hear the sound of Dharma lectures, and every volunteer reveals an expression filled with Dharma . Seeing such a scene, I am filled with nothing but deep emotion. Ma Yun is also a monastic in the temple; she is not tall, but she carries a unique quality, as if Master Faxian were alive in the world. Several other great beings are also among them, each expounding on different Dharma gates, promoting the Pure Land. This place will become the headquarters of the Pure Land school, a human Buddha-land, connected to the Western Land, where the true Buddha resides, liberating all from suffering and leading them to rebirth in the Western Pure Land.

The Simplicity of the Path

Interview with Zhao Puchu. Chief writer: Shi Facie.

Zhao Puchu speaks:

With the daily invitation of spirits, the Great Buddha Temple is constantly turning. In reality, the prototype and rules of the temple are slowly being formed—formulated by the Buddha, presided over by the Buddha, following the Buddha’s will, and following the Buddha’s practice. Everything is restoring the original appearance of the Buddha’s teachings. Seeing this, I cannot help but feel the good fortune of this generation. There is a group of people who can follow the Buddha’s footsteps, implementing them step by step. This ability to communicate with the Buddha only requires honest purification; it does not need complex or cumbersome content. These have already been pioneered and tested successfully. This is a simple and straightforward path. Besides being able to master oneself, one can also communicate with the underworld through this, helping those who are disturbed to resolve their conflicts and truly send their to the Western Land, so they do not have to wander in space. This ability needs to be widely promoted, and such a leader needs to be supported and protected. The Chairman also understands the importance and urgency of all this. For every minute that passes, there are many people or spirits waiting to be saved. He is also very anxious about this in his heart and will do his utmost to handle it quickly. He wants to tell the Master that the Master will not be the only one moving forward; Jinping will accompany the Master’s footsteps to save the world together.

The Wailing of the Black Rope Hell

Interview with Zou Enlai. Chief writer: Lay Practitioner Cao Rudi.

Zou Enlai speaks:

This morning, I followed the of Practitioner Su on a journey of deliverance. When we approached the Black Rope Hell, we heard wailing everywhere before we even got close. Looking out, it was pitch black, and the sounds of lamentation rose and fell. Curious, I approached a who had risen on a lotus seat and asked why he was here. The Bodhisattva replied: “When I was a human in the world, I was disrespectful to my parents, unkind to my brothers, and overbearing to my neighbors. Everyone feared me. I was short-tempered all my life and never felt I had any faults. Until I took my last breath, I still felt that the world had failed me, that only I was right, and that everyone had wronged me. Who would have known that at the moment of death, a force dragged my spirit into the depths of the earth? It was not until today, when I met you, that I could speak. I have not had anyone to talk to for a thousand years, only endless suffering without seeing the light of day, just like the Avici Hell. It is truly bitter.”

I asked: “Can you see your past actions now, as well as the harm and influence you caused others? Do you still feel you have no faults?” “Sigh! It is precisely because I had no intention of repenting in the past that I could only leave this place of punishment today. Today, seeing a group of people with golden light passing by quickly, the sound of ‘Namo Amituofo’—which deeply shook the heart—made me shed tears uncontrollably. I repent for all my past wrongs. The ones I wronged the most were my parents and those I hurt. I could barely remember my own name.” “Strangely enough, as soon as the thought arose, along with the golden light and the fragrance of lotus flowers, a lotus seat carried me away from the Black Rope Hell, which I could not escape for a thousand years.” “I saw the Buddha leading the deliverance. His halo was so large, so large, and his face was very compassionate. He was wearing a brown Haiqing. As soon as his long sleeves waved, many connected Bodhisattvas, like me, were lifted up and brought to this warm place you call the Dharma-Nature Land. I am a newborn; I don’t understand anything, but my first lesson will be to learn humility and modesty, to change my past arrogant and haughty attitude and habits, so as not to let down this compassionate Buddha—the one you call Practitioner Su—for his rescue. The Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo is also an important lesson. I will be serious, I will work hard, and I thank Practitioner Su for giving me this opportunity to change my ways. Namo Amituofo.”

After hearing this, I felt that I am truly a very lucky person to have been called by name by Practitioner Su from hell and rescued. Like the Bodhisattva Kegang, I will cherish everything in the present and do my utmost to contribute my humble efforts to the Buddha’s cause. Namo Amituofo.

The Urgency of Deliverance

Interview with Mr. Li Keqiang. Chief writer: Shi Fajing.

Venerable Fajing: I respectfully invite Mr. Li Keqiang. Namo Amituofo.

Li Keqiang speaks:

I am at the rear, constantly urging the spirits to move forward, move forward! Ahead is the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Everyone is about to leave the sea of suffering. Move forward, move forward! There are so many spirits—microorganisms, ants, all kinds of flowers, plants, and trees, even animals that can only be seen in ancient times, and many lonely wandering spirits. It is endless, too many to count. Everyone is moving forward, seeking rebirth in the Western Land. I have never seen such a scene. In my past life, I, Wuren, did not have the skills to deliver these beings. Wuren only knew how to translate sutras and give Dharma talks; I did not know how to deliver sentient beings.

To be honest, I am very afraid of ghosts; I am very timid. Since I was a child, I had no contact with the Buddha’s teachings. I only heard and saw some ghost stories, and I was very fearful of ghosts. I often dared not spend the night alone in the dark. To me, ghosts were unfriendly and very scary. Now I understand that they are all very miserable. No one dreams of becoming a ghost in the future; everyone wants to become a Buddha, yet no one succeeds. Most still become ghosts, with no destination, no goal, only darkness and the underworld. When will they see the dawn? Now, following Practitioner Su in deliverance, I hope to save more beings so that more can leave the sea of suffering. I am fortunate to be able to join the ranks of those saving beings. I have not done many good deeds in my life, but now is the time for me to start playing my part. I must bravely move forward. Namo Amituofo.

Daily Report on Zhang Rongfa

Interview with Zhang Rongfa. Chief writer: Shi Hailiang.

Venerable Hailiang: With palms together, I respectfully invite Chairman Zhang Rongfa of the Evergreen Group. How is Gu Chongliang different today?

Zhang Rongfa speaks:

Gu Chongliang knows that the day of the Dharma assembly is getting closer. Chanting Buddha’s name with Practitioner Su is always so powerful. Today, I saw that the Master’s speed of deliverance is even faster than before. The Master also gave teachings to Gu Chongliang and several other great beings, emphasizing that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is truly sparing no effort for the inheritance of the Buddha’s teachings and the Pure Land lineage. The headquarters of the Pure Land school is something the Master highlighted today. For the sake of the lineage and the world headquarters of the Pure Land school, I now know my mission is clearer than ever. The Great Buddha Temple must be built, and the sooner the better. My own Dharma Body and wisdom life must grow, and the disciples must also be saved. Gu Chongliang has begun to be more active and diligent. Practitioner Su, the Master’s teaching is to let Gu Chongliang value his own strength and make good use of it. Those with ability must know how to use it to the fullest to save people. Today, Practitioner Su took on the suffering of sentient beings, leading the masses to chant the Buddha’s name and deliver beings. Saving the world is very important; it is vividly before my eyes. Since finding the Master, everything I have experienced has made me really want to find my own instincts, to be able to follow the Master everywhere to save people, and to remain pure and good. Seeing Gu Chongliang possessing the Buddha’s compassion makes me see that all fifty trillion of my cells are lotus flowers. Seeing the disciples waiting for the Master to save them, I know in my heart that the temple must be built. Gu Zhongliang’s performance in the last few days is impressive.

Venerable Hailiang: Thank you for your assistance, Chairman Zhang Rongfa. Namo Amituofo.
