The Preciousness of Every Breath
This is a truly magnificent time. Why is it so precious? It is because you are still breathing. Within the span of every single breath, you have the opportunity to keep the name of Namo Amituofo flowing continuously in your heart, without any interruption and without any lingering attachments. Even if your very last breath were to arrive at this exact moment, if your chanting remains uninterrupted, you are still connected to the Buddha.
If you can understand this method and truly practise it in your daily life, you will receive the of Namo Amituofo. When your spiritual obstacles are removed through the Buddha's presence, and at the very instant your spirit ascends the lotus pedestal, you will be led by the Buddha into the of Ultimate Bliss.
A Sanctuary of Infinite
This is a magnificent time because Namo Amituofo is truly residing here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. This presence provides a rare opportunity for sentient beings throughout the ten directions—including those in the six realms of rebirth, the sages of the Four Sacred Realms, and all beings from this world and beyond—to encounter the Buddha, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su.
Through this encounter, they are granted the opportunity to attain a state where they do not grow old, do not get sick, and the spirit does not die, ultimately achieving rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo possesses great compassion and has made the Forty-eight Great Vows to save countless suffering beings. His presence here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is specifically for the purpose of rescuing these beings from their endless suffering.
The Path of for Spirits
The spiritual realms are aware of this, and immeasurable, boundless numbers of spirits have come here seeking Chao Du. Through this, they are able to leave suffering behind and find happiness, eventually achieving rebirth in the Western Pure Land. When members of the human world participate in the assemblies for Chao Du, the deceased spirits are given a precious opportunity:
- They are guided by the Buddha to understand their current state after death.
- They learn which of the six realms they are currently residing in.
- They receive the Buddha's blessings and the guidance of Practitioner Su, who leads them into the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
After participating in these Dharma assemblies for Chao Du several times, the spirits begin to listen to the sutras. By following their own sincere intention to chant the Buddha's name, they are led into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. For these spirits, who have been trapped for countless aeons, this is the moment of their salvation. This is truly a magnificent event.
The Practitioner's Journey to
For those of you who are practitioners, your time here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is equally vital. Under the guidance and teachings of Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su, you are able to engage in True Cultivation. This involves several essential steps:
- Learning to listen and follow the teachings with a sincere heart.
- Working diligently to change your personality traits and remove negative habits.
- Accumulating merit and virtues through your daily actions.
- Listening to the sutras and hearing the Dharma to deepen your understanding.
- Removing defilements to attain purity of heart and mind.
- Practising with fierce diligence, maintaining the chanting of Namo Amituofo 24/7 without interruption.
It is my hope that through your own diligent practice, combined with the Buddha's blessings, you will soon realise your true nature and join the Buddha in the work of saving countless suffering beings.

As the fourfold assembly of disciples participates in these ceremonies, you are all united in the sound of the Buddha's name.
