My dear children in the , do you wish to make genuine progress in your practice? Are you currently facing obstacles that seem impossible to overcome? If you find yourself stuck, you must be willing to transform your deep-seated personality traits and correct your ways. You must pay close attention to the most subtle aspects of your conduct and, above all, be completely honest with yourself.
The Hidden Roots of Obstacles
If you have the sincere intention to change your personality and correct your past mistakes, yet find that you are unable to do so, the problems will persist and you will continue to create . When this happens, it is often because there are areas in your daily life that you cannot see or have failed to notice. Perhaps there are faults you have overlooked, or aspects of your personality that remain unchanged. Sometimes, you may have neglected the subtle details of your behaviour, which is why the problems continue to manifest.
Furthermore, changing one's personality is a difficult task. You may believe you have changed because your external actions or the tone of your speech have shifted. However, if your heart remains unchanged, the underlying issues will persist, and your karma will continue to manifest in your life. True transformation requires a shift that begins from within the heart.
The Guidance of the Buddha and Practitioner Su
As long as you are willing to cultivate to change your ways, you are not only helping yourself but also benefiting all beings. If you are truly committed to advancing in your practice, then the Buddha and Practitioner Su can certainly assist you. We are able to see the things that you cannot see. We understand the hearts of both you and your who seek balance for past grievances. Through our skillful means, we can remind you of the things you have missed, the areas you have not noticed, or the subtle details that require your attention.
However, for this to be effective, you must be willing to let go of the doubts in your heart. You must not leave even a trace of hesitation behind. You must be willing to accept the teachings from the Buddha and listen carefully to the lectures and reminders provided by Practitioner Su. Only when you put these teachings into practice with sincerity can you achieve real change.
The Courage to Purify the Heart
Practice requires you to be honest with yourself without any reservation. Only then can the areas of pollution within your heart be revealed. Once you are willing to accept this counseling, you must summon the boldness and determination to wash away the filth as quickly as possible. Often, you may find that even after one attempt at purification, the filth remains, or perhaps it has not even begun to fade. You might ask yourself: Is my effort insufficient? Or is the pollution so deep and thick that it cannot be washed away?
At such moments, you must never feel discouraged or give up. You must understand that these personality traits and problems have been accumulated over a very long time. They are deeply rooted, and it requires great effort to pull them out. You must wash and purify yourself repeatedly to finally cleanse the filth away. Be honest with yourself, face your problems and the areas where you need to break through, and only through thorough correction can you move forward on the path to .
