An Interview with Venerable Mudaxin, the 939th Venerable

A Record of the Dharma Body Deliverance of Planet Diba

This is a record of an interview with the 939th Venerable, Mudaxin, regarding the deliverance of the planet Diba. This interview was conducted by the chief writer, Shi Fajing, on June 26, 2018, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia.

Venerable Mudaxin speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. During today's deliverance across the universe, I discovered a truly peculiar planet. It was one of the worlds successfully saved today, and I would like to share its story with all of you.

I generally use cardinal directions to describe the vastness of the universe, but in truth, the universe has no real orientation. It is simply too immense—boundless and reaching into every corner of existence. In the extreme south of the universe, there exists a planet remarkably similar to Earth. I shall refer to it as a 'pseudo-Earth,' and its name is Planet Diba.

A Young World of Advanced Machinery

Planet Diba has existed for approximately one hundred million years. Compared to other celestial bodies, it is quite a young planet. However, its development has been incredibly rapid. If you were to compare the most sophisticated technology currently on Earth to the technology on Diba, even their most obsolete, discarded equipment would far surpass ours.

If you were to look up at their sky, you might see a streak of light flashing past. If you looked closely, you would realise it is the footprint left by a flying horse. Riding these horses are the inhabitants of Diba. They look similar to humans, but they have evolved much faster. They possess twenty fingers—double that of a human—and each finger serves a distinct, specialised function. Every citizen has a microchip implanted in their brain. These chips have massive memory capacities, capable of storing vast amounts of information. Their cognitive processing speed is one hundred thousand times faster than that of a human; that is the sheer power of their technology.

The Factory of Souls

The inhabitants of Diba have another striking characteristic: they have no concept of 'male' or 'female,' nor do they have any notion of biological reproduction. You might wonder, how are their people created? Well, Diba possesses a unique production mechanism, and the state maintains strict control over the population. Whenever a citizen dies, the instruments within the 'National Production Centre' immediately detect it. This is one of the primary functions of the chip implanted in every citizen's head.

When the National Production Centre detects a signal indicating that a chip's energy has been exhausted, they know that a citizen is about to be extinguished. At that moment, they immediately activate a massive, highly precise instrument. They begin to input specifications: the size and shape of the face, the durability of the internal organs, the texture of the skin, the complexion, height, weight, and even the vocal tone. Once these parameters are matched, they manufacture a new chip to be implanted into the head. Finally, they press the 'Success' key, and a brand-new citizen is produced.

The Colour of Life and the Tech-Ecosystem

Each chip has a different colour. The more advanced the chip's function, the deeper its colour, and the longer the citizen's lifespan. You can tell how long a citizen will live simply by the colour of their chip. Currently, their maximum lifespan is fifty years, while some are discarded and replaced after only one or two years. Unlike Earth, where humans develop from infancy, the inhabitants of Diba do not experience the process of ageing.

Planet Diba, much like Earth, possesses flora, fauna, land, water, and sky. Every natural ecosystem found on Earth can be seen on Diba. The difference is that all their animals and plants are technological products. There are tech-trees, tech-cattle, tech-sheep, tech-horses, tech-clouds, and tech-landscapes. Everything on Diba is manufactured through technology. Some animals have evolved into strange forms, such as the flying horse I mentioned earlier—a horse with wings that can soar through the sky. The citizens of Diba frequently ride these horses as a primary mode of transport. The speed of these flying horses is equivalent to that of an Earth helicopter. For the citizens, it is a very convenient way to get around.

Beneath the Surface and the Void of Emotion

Beyond the creatures that fly in the sky, there are also submersibles that travel underground. These are tools for rapid movement beneath the surface. A single submersible can carry four to five citizens. Usually, these vessels are parked on the surface, but once a citizen boards and activates the craft, it automatically tunnels through the crust to reach the world below. Beneath the surface lies an entirely different realm, where countless submersibles move rapidly along densely packed tracks.

The citizens of Diba do not enjoy delicious food. When they are hungry, they simply consume a capsule to feel instantly full. This is to accommodate their fast-paced lifestyle; they have no time to savour a meal. A single capsule provides enough sustenance to last an entire day. The whole planet is busy every single day, constantly developing new technology and researching ways to make life more convenient and efficient.

The inhabitants of Diba have no blood, no tears, and no emotions. They operate exactly like robots. The strange thing is that within their bodies, there is still a spirit trapped inside that hard, artificial shell. In reality, they are a group of souls undergoing . They are the reincarnated spirits of many researchers from ancient times who spent their lives developing technology. Now, they are trapped in the very fruits of their own labour. They are like replicated, manipulated robots. The spirits inhabiting these shells are actually in immense pain. Yet, there is no Buddha’s teaching here to save them, nor any other faith. Their lives are filled only with instruments, data, and technological products. Every day, they are controlled like machines, working, working, researching, and researching without end.

The Light of Deliverance

Today, the Buddha-light—the Body deliverance—arrived at the extreme south of the universe. Planet Diba was bathed in this Buddha-light, and the sound of the Buddha-name resonated throughout the planet. They were stunned by this sound and the radiance of the Buddha. The spirits within their bodies were suddenly awakened, as if jolted from a long slumber. All the technological instruments immediately ceased to function.

Every citizen turned to face this gentle golden light. The Buddha-light shone upon their entire bodies, and the Buddha-name penetrated their very core. The citizens began to follow along, chanting the six-syllable name, 'Namo Amituofo.' The hard shells of their bodies began to disintegrate, and the control of the chips lost its effect. The spirits within their bodies quickly exited their shells, weeping and begging for the Buddha's help. One after another, they chanted the holy name of 'Namo Amituofo,' returning to the next bright destination.

I feel a deep sense of concern for the people on Earth today, who are constantly developing new technology and pursuing a faster, more convenient life. I do not know if Earth's future might evolve into the same fate as Planet Diba—an environment that appears convenient and fast, yet where the spirit suffers immensely. The Buddha’s teachings must be vigorously promoted. Only the Buddha’s teachings can save every trapped soul, awaken the purest heart within humanity, and lead us all to chant the holy name of 'Namo Amituofo' together, returning to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Namo Amituofo."
