Recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.

On the second of November, 2025, Namo Amituofo offered this discourse on the nature of the Buddha's existence and the path to liberation.

The Triune Essence of the Buddha

The Buddha possesses three distinct bodies: the , the Reward Body, and the Transformation Body. The Body is the essence of the Dharma itself, existing in perfect, seamless unity with the vastness of the Dharma Realm, the heavens, the earth, and all sentient beings. The Pure Dharma Body, the Perfect Reward Body, and the manifested Transformation Body work in harmony to save all beings from the cycle of rebirth.

the Light Within

The Pure Dharma Body is revealed naturally once you have successfully found your true self. As you break through one portion of your ignorance, you realise one portion of the Dharma Body. When the Dharma Body is fully revealed, you have attained the Buddha's path. At this moment, your body radiates light, and the entire world receives the benefits of the Dharma. Under the illumination of this light, all forms of suffering are left behind.

The Boundless Reach of the Dharma Body

The Dharma Body is infinitely vast and represents the ultimate freedom of the spirit. Its essence is pure light, which allows the Buddha to observe the conditions of beings and manifest a Transformation Body accordingly. Attaining Buddhahood is not an easy task, and encountering a Buddha is even more difficult. This is because meeting a Buddha provides the rare opportunity to attain Buddhahood. When you encounter a Buddha, you are able to receive teachings at the place where the Buddha manifests, thus gaining the chance to become a Buddha yourself.

Bridging the Heart to the Buddha

All Buddhas walk the same path. A Buddha sees every being as a Buddha and treats them with the Buddha-heart. However, because beings are lost in confusion, they are unable to connect with the Buddha's heart. To save beings and help them rediscover their true self, the Buddha acts according to the principle of responding to the hearts of beings and their capacity to understand. The Buddha manifests in a form that is equal to and acceptable to the beings he intends to save, yet the essence of the Dharma Body remains unchanged and singular.

The Unfettered Freedom of the Pure Dharma Body

The Dharma Body is pure and unconditioned; therefore, it is capable of everything. It is not limited by the Dharma itself, and its influence is not restricted by space or location. It wanders freely throughout the vastness of the Dharma Realm, embodying the truth that the heavens, the earth, and I share the same root, and all things and I are one body.

A Sanctuary of Light in Goombungee

The Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Center in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, is a place where Namo Amituofo truly abides. Here, we have the teachings of Namo Amituofo and Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, as well as the Dharma Body performed by Practitioner Su. This work saves all spirits universally. Even in the human world, beings are waiting for your help. After the undergoes purification through diligent practice, the true self will be revealed, and there will come a time when you, too, will realise the Dharma Body.

The fourfold assembly must practise with diligence. It is difficult to encounter this opportunity in millions of years—the chance to achieve Awakening and realise one's true nature and attain Buddhahood.
