The Science of Vibrational Energy and Karmic Resonance
Teachings from Master Xuanzang
The of Sentient Beings
The term is an abbreviation of the Sanskrit word Bodhisattva, which translates into Chinese as an awakened sentient being. It is precisely because they still possess emotions that they are called Bodhisattvas rather than Buddhas. The worldly realm is also known as the world of endurance. If our emotions were not heavy, we would not fall into this worldly realm, which shows that endurance and emotion are inextricably linked. This illusory world is filled with the six realms of rebirth, complex emotions, and the necessity of endurance.
Emotion contains elements of possession and selfishness, which are the root causes of suffering. In contrast, is the act of removing suffering and bestowing happiness; it involves selfless giving. If you, as a being in this world, hope to leave suffering behind, you must allow compassion and wisdom to transform and elevate your emotional development. Do not let your emotions become so entangled that they are impossible to resolve.
The Interwoven Threads of Human Emotion
Every person carries various forms of emotion within them. These manifest in many ways:
- Familial love: The bonds between parents, children, spouses, and relatives.
- Friendship: The connections between classmates and friends.
- Mentorship: The bond between teachers and students.
- Camaraderie: The relationships between superiors and subordinates, or among peers.
- Romantic love: Especially the deep attachments between men and women, which are often the most difficult to let go of.
These various emotions exist intertwined within our lives, and for the most part, they create significant obstacles to our practice. This is because much of the conflict and pain experienced by people in this world occurs within the realm of these emotions. It is an abstract force, difficult to measure, yet it exerts a powerful attraction that pulls us toward one another. It is the reason for the operation of within the universe and follows a natural principle: whatever cause you plant, whatever conditions you encounter, you will reap the corresponding result. The law of and the causes and effects never deviates.
The Echoes of Karmic Resonance
In every interaction between individuals, vibrational energy is generated. This energy exists alongside the thoughts and present during the interaction, stored within the memory of every spirit. Therefore, memory is also a form of vibrational energy that does not disappear. This memory and vibrational energy constitute the cause that has been planted. Regardless of how much time has passed—days, years, centuries, millennia, or even ten thousand years—it will not vanish.
When external conditions mature and you encounter the original initiator of this memory and vibrational energy, the two energies come into contact and vibrate, causing resonance. This resonance produces a new form of energy, which is the result. Within this result, another form of memory and vibrational energy may develop, which becomes a new cause stored in the spirit's memory. When external conditions mature again in the future, these two vibrational energies will meet and vibrate once more, forming yet another new energy, which is the next result. People live within this cycle of karmic conditions and the causes and effects. Each of the six realms of rebirth possesses different vibrational energies.
Severing the Chains of Attachment
Only those with wisdom will use the great power of compassion to sever their own negative entities. If the other party still retains this energy, when the two meet, the wise practitioner can interact with a mind of no-thought, no-attachment, and selflessness. This can weaken or resolve the resonance of the vibrational energy, allowing the result to be transformed or severed. This is the principle behind the saying that heavy can be experienced as a lighter burden. Alternatively, one may transform emotional entanglements into affinity, thereby elevating the quality of the vibrational energy.
In summary, the process of interaction between people forms various vibrations, and these vibrations possess energy. Different interaction scenarios form different vibrational energies, and this process creates memories stored within the consciousness of every spirit. This invisible memory can be stored in a static state, following the spirit without disappearing, only to surface when external conditions mature.
The Clarity of the Pure Spirit
Whether this memory-based vibrational energy can be expressed through the dynamic movement of depends on the current state of the body's cells and the influence of or spiritual attachments. It depends on whether the expression can be clear and accurate without obstruction. Sometimes, due to physical defects or the interference of karmic creditors, the body cannot act as the spirit intends. The purer the spirit, the clearer and more accurate the consciousness and memory it manifests. The purer the body, the fewer the obstacles, and the more purified become, allowing the spirit's intent to be expressed clearly.
This is why practitioners must focus on purification, and then more purification. This allows the spirit and body to function fully, achieving the goal of saving oneself and saving others. If the body is free of any obstacles and is crystal clear, and the spirit's sensitive awareness is pure and completely uncontaminated, the body and spirit will merge into one. This is the moment of Awakening—the original appearance of your true self.
The Spectrum of Vibrational Energy
Vibrational energy can be simple, one-on-one, or it can be one-to-many or many-to-many, occurring simultaneously across time and space. Regardless of how much time passes, if external conditions mature, these vibrational energies will resonate upon contact, producing a new energy—the result. If individuals are in the same external conditions, it is Collective Karma. Because of different initial vibrations, each person may have different experiences within the same event, which is known as individual karma.
Vibrational energy forms memories stored in the spirit's consciousness. There are many types of vibrational energy:
- Positive vibrations: Compassion leads to compassionate energy, wisdom leads to wisdom energy, leads to joyful energy, Generosity leads to the energy of giving, and Patience leads to the energy of endurance.
- Negative vibrations: Resentment, complaining, anger, greed, ignorance, arrogance, and doubt each generate distinct negative entities.
Whichever vibrational energy manifests when conditions mature in this life will form your specific the "self," personal ego, and selfishness. Therefore, the the "self," personal ego, and selfishness you display now are all vibrational energies accumulated from past lives. Whichever energy is strongest will manifest as the dominant trait in your personality.
The Path to Ultimate Liberation
If negative entities are released, a strong, negative personality manifests. This triggers the body's cells to develop in a negative direction, awakening dormant karmic creditors or intensifying the activity of those already present, leading to negative results. Conversely, if positive vibrational energy is released, a virtuous personality manifests, triggering the body's cells to develop in a virtuous direction, leading to positive responses and results.
It is my hope that you will take the knowledge shared here and apply it practically in your daily life. May you attain true benefits of the Dharma and achieve purification of the body, mind, and spirit, so that you may soon reach Awakening, save yourself, and save all beings through rebirth in the of Ultimate Bliss.
