This is a record of an interview with the spirit of King Chujiang, conducted by Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia on January 16, 2017. The interview concerns the spiritual condition of two practitioners, Chiu Chia-hung and Lai Po-ya, who were suffering from severe spiritual interference. This record was compiled by the chief writer, Shi Fa.

Practitioner Su speaks:

"King Chujiang, with your , I must ask: has the soul of my grandson, Chiu Chia-hung, been seized? He often cannot master his own mind. Sometimes he is full of compassion, but the moment that compassion fades, his facial features change entirely, as if he is being controlled. I beg you, King Chujiang, please provide your teachings."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Before he began his practice, he was a good person. After he began his practice, he transformed into a bad person."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"King Chujiang, please explain further, for I do not understand."

The Dangers of Self-Attachment

"Before he practised, he was truly an obedient child—a person of compassion and charity. After he began his practice, he followed the strictly. However, once those precepts were abandoned, he became selfish, obsessed with his own family members, and thus became a bad person. He abandoned the sentient beings of the entire realm, seeing only his desire to be compassionate to his wife and his own kin, while failing to show compassion to the spirits residing within his own body space. This is what makes one a bad person. Therefore, Chiu Chia-hung, the personality you sometimes manifest is not your true, pure nature."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"King Chujiang, is his body being used? Is he being possessed and attacked by ? When I saw him yesterday, his face did not look like his own. Why are there so many spirits attached to him?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"The child standing before you right now is not himself."

A Call to Discipline

"Chiu Chia-hung, your spirit has been seized. When you entered yesterday, I saw that it was not you! Child, your lifestyle in Australia should not be so drastically different from your life in Taiwan. It is not that no one has pointed this out to you, but you remain attached to your own desires. You have been holding back for seven months; it is time to stop. Yet, you refuse to listen to repeated counsel. Every time you enter the Buddha hall, your face reveals the truth. Under the illumination of the Buddha-light, everything hidden within your body is exposed. Child, this is to save you, not to restrict you. No one wants to manage another person—do you know how exhausting that is?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"King Chujiang, are his three hun souls and seven po souls still intact?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Of course, there has been a loss: one hun soul and three po souls are gone."

The Weight of Past Lives

"That one hun soul is, of course, among a crowd of women. Although he does not appear to be a sentimental playboy in this lifetime, his past lives are filled with such instances. In a past life, as was revealed recently, he was Emperor Gaozu of Han, was he not? That past life has yet to be saved. Because his listening to the Dharma has been sporadic—aside from the time spent in Australia—the number of spirits he can invite out is limited, and most of them are consorts. Do you know from which dynasty these consorts originate?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"The Qing Dynasty."

King Chujiang speaks:

"And is that limited to only one lifetime?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"In that life, he seems to have been a prince, is that correct?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"What I wish to convey is that there are many lives you have yet to face, some of which have not yet manifested or been saved, simply because you have not listened to enough Dharma. If you truly wish to walk the path of practice, you must settle your mind. First, save the beings within yourself; there are so many waiting in your space. As for the Han Gaozu era, check the history books. Although he was not a bad person, the he incurred was significant. Has it been saved? Not yet. So, do you still have time to live in comfort and ease? I know, even if you do not say it, that these recent days have been comfortable and pleasant, with no one to restrict or demand anything of you."

The Responsibility of a Practitioner

"Now, is it not time to practise? Child, this is not a question of whether you have the affinity or not. Your responsibility is not small. You are a disciple of Great Master Yongjia and Great Master Shengchang. Your connection with Great Master Shengchang involves your connection with Venerable Dinghong, who requires your Dharma image to help transform others. He is an indispensable figure in the spreading of the Buddha’s teachings. Therefore, you must practise diligently! Why did your space, which was once open, become smaller and smaller, to the point where sometimes you cannot receive anything at all? And why, during this last month of seclusion, have you been unable to settle your mind?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Is it interference from sentient beings?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Partly, and partly it is your own personality. No matter how good a person is, their hidden personality traits will manifest during seclusion. There are aspects of you that are not good, or not known to others, which Practitioner Canyue has actually observed. Just because it is not manifest internally does not mean no one knows. The fact that you cannot settle your mind is the primary problem. Child, among these six children, you are the one who cannot settle your mind! You must face this problem!"

The Trap of False Compassion

"Your lack of meditative concentration is due to excessive compassion. You have rotten compassion. First, you must have compassion for your own character; second, for your own body; and third, for your own sentient beings. Because you can read that these beings are female, and sometimes these female beings are on your wife, you feel a compassionate desire to accompany them. You and your wife are pulling on each other. This month of seclusion is a good thing; it allows you both to see your problems clearly and understand why you cannot settle down."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Chiu Chia-hung is very compassionate, but sometimes he wants to be compassionate and simply cannot. It is written all over his face; his face turns black. Yesterday, when I looked at your face, I felt such pity! You are under great pressure, but in learning Buddhism, one cannot have pressure. You must cultivate a heart of compassion. You must have the heart to save the world. Truly, no one is saving the world right now; if you have the heart to save the world, you can turn your karma around. King Chujiang, where has that soul of Chiu Chia-hung gone?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Into the embrace of women."

The Danger of Emotional Attachment

"Practitioner Su, when you speak of compassion, it is also what he loves. During their practice in Australia, the couple often had issues. Venerable Haize has even given them a head-on blow to wake them up."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Can Venerable Haize see them?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"He has made progress! Practitioner Su, he treats these six children as his own, watching every little detail. He tries to request from the Teacher, the Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas, and from Namo Amituofo. As soon as there is a teaching or a message, he immediately gathers everyone to share it. Leading these children allows him to understand his own responsibilities; otherwise, he always feels that Practitioner Su is there to carry the burden for him."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Oh! That will not do! Haize must be the protagonist; he must grow himself!"

King Chujiang speaks:

"He always feels he has a mother looking after him, acting like an obedient child."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Then may I ask where Chiu Chia-hung's soul is? Please write the name down."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Usually, the female beings are on the wife or on the other half of the couple."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"His wife's physical strength is also poor; she often falls asleep while standing. Is this problem also caused by spirits? Come, Lai Po-ya, kneel here. Because she can sleep while standing, these spirits must be captured. Do you agree? We must capture them."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Where is this Fang Xin now?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"In his wife's eyes. Actually, Practitioner Su, during the yesterday, did the two of them not come to listen to the Dharma?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Yes."

King Chujiang speaks:

"When Po-ya stepped into the lecture hall, the first thing I saw in her eyes was Fang Xin."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"I saw that. Po-ya's body is being used, and the person on her face changes often."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Indeed! But when Po-ya sits down and listens to the Dharma with a calm heart, they retreat under the illumination of the Buddha-light. Do you know that every inch of your body is being controlled by others? Especially Po-ya, who is severely controlled. It is not that you want it this way; everyone knows that. You also want to break through, and you are very diligent, but you just cannot pass. You must ask yourself: where is the problem?"

The Necessity of Letting Go

"On the path of practice, the word 'emotion' must be slowly let go of. No matter how difficult it is, if you still want to be on this path, you must let go; otherwise, you might as well turn back, and the pressure would not be so great. This path does not allow for any sentimentality. The further you go, the more you must be completely clean. This is for your own protection. Because as you purify yourself, you get closer to achievement, and at this time, all those who do not want you to succeed will manifest. When your concentration is insufficient, is this not extremely dangerous? It is out of the compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas that everyone is asked to let go of everything—it is to prevent others from having leverage over you. This is extremely dangerous. You are human; you are in the light, and they are in the dark. They are spirits. You cannot see what they want to do to you, and that is the danger."

"When you have a thought, because your emotional attachment manifests again, you become selfish, or you act on emotion again. When this thought manifests, how many sentient beings are drawn in? How many karmic creditors are sought out? Imagine these creditors as a group of gangsters—how terrifying is that! They carry weapons; is this something you can easily resolve with them?"

"That is why Practitioner Su asks everyone not to have random thoughts. Random thoughts find all these sentient beings, and some are still looking for you. If you do not have these thoughts, you will not find them, and they can naturally be saved. But when your thoughts manifest, you find them all, and your body only suffers. That is why it is said that more is worse than less. You would be better off having one less thought, and chanting Namo Amituofo with more compassion. Chanting one more Namo Amituofo can help you eliminate disasters and become a Buddha sooner. Once you become a Buddha, you can turn back to save those you have karmic affinities with."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Chiu Chia-hung's soul is in his wife's eyes. Come out! How many lifetimes have you been following him? This world is not good; how can it be that people cannot master their own minds? Come out! How many lifetimes have you been following him?"

Fang Xin speaks:

"I have followed him for six lifetimes."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Was that when he was a prince?"

(Fang Xin nods)

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Then what are you doing on Po-ya now?"

Fang Xin speaks:

"If I am not on her, how can I talk to him? How can I watch him silently like this! Without that feeling, I cannot."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You now know he is practising at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Do you want to come and listen to the Dharma?"

Fang Xin speaks:

"I do not want him to practise. I do not want to listen to the Dharma. I want him to come home."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"So you are causing trouble for him? Your sins are very heavy! You are a dead person, a spirit body. You have no body, and he has a body. How can he accompany you?"

Fang Xin speaks:

"I can have that feeling while on his wife."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Do not be foolish anymore! Have you not suffered enough after so many lifetimes? If he dies now, he can be reborn in the Western Pure Land. I can take him there, and you will not be able to find him. All of you, come out. My Buddha is compassionate and wants to save you. I know there are many female spirits in the space behind his head. Are you waiting for your turn to come out? Look at how many more there are behind you."

(Fang Xin nods)

Fang Xin speaks:

"Many, many. That is why I must grab him tightly. I do not want anyone else to replace me."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"I can have your spirit taken back to hell. Let him go! Otherwise, I will not be polite!"

Fang Xin speaks:

"Why must you do this?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Come, let me show you the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Look at it, listen to the Dharma! Otherwise, go and be reincarnated."

Fang Xin speaks:

"If I am reincarnated, I will not be able to find him. I cannot find him."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"If you are not reincarnated, and you keep intruding like this, the King of Hell is here to interrogate you, and you also have sins. People have husbands and wives; you cannot do this."

Fang Xin speaks:

"I am really afraid that others will replace me."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Tell her it is all false; do not do these things anymore."

Chiu Chia-hung speaks:

"If you still think I am a prince, then go up and listen to the Dharma."

Fang Xin speaks:

"I know others will replace me! I will never be able to wait for you."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Chiu Chia-hung is very thin now, skin and bone, and his face has collapsed. It was not collapsed before, but now it has. This woman is terrible! Emotions kill people! He does not belong to you now; you have never truly possessed him. Everyone, including these three hundred and more female beings—there are so many! Now, I only ask you to look at the West. Everyone, come out! My Buddha will save you!"

Fang Xin speaks:

"They do not want to come out."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Have you not seen that one of Liu Mingyu's female spirits who would not listen was taken by me to the Iron Bed Hell? Do you want to go down there too?"

(Fang Xin shakes her head)

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Good, go to the Dharma-Nature Land to listen to the Dharma. Write down how many there are! Otherwise, I will have him taken to the Iron Bed Hell. Write! Do not refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit!"

(Fang Xin writes: 365 people, representative: Liang Wenyi)

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Those 365 people, represented by Liang Wenyi, and you yourself are called Fang Xin. Now, let him go! The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre needs such talent. We are saving the world; this is the Buddha's work. If you do not let him go, I will immediately send you to the Iron Bed Hell. Fourfold assembly of disciples! If you were not part of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, I would not care. Now, saving people is urgent; he can save thousands upon thousands of people. Look at the many memorial tablets he has written. Go up!"

Fang Xin speaks:

"My heart hurts so much, so much."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"King Chujiang, please say a word! Otherwise, this child—look, his face has collapsed, his face is different, everything is different, his face is black, so different! His wife, Lai Po-ya, cannot master her own mind either."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Fang Xin, do you know that Chiu Chia-hung is destined to serve the Buddha's teachings in this life? Even if you are on his wife now, one day he must let go of his wife and focus on his practice. Is it your turn to be attached? You have been attached to this emotion for how many years? In those days, he was a gentle prince. Today, although his personality is still gentle, he has special sympathy and love for women. But the name Fang Xin has long been forgotten. When the soup of oblivion was drunk in the cycle of rebirth, every bit was washed away, including the name Fang Xin."

"Emotion is inherently a heartless thing. Where there is love, there is an end. Where there is a beginning, there is an end. There is no banquet in the world that does not end. Moreover, you no longer have a physical body; you are a soul. In what capacity can you continue this relationship with Chiu Chia-hung? Do you have the ability? This is a once-in-a-thousand-years opportunity. To be reborn in the Western Pure Land requires how much blessing! You must practise to cut off all greed, anger, ignorance, and arrogance before you can possibly reach the West. Now, I am sending you directly to the West. Although your rank may not be high, at least you will be liberated from the six realms of rebirth. Where else will you find such a good opportunity? You would be better off letting go and seeking your own rebirth. You can even dedicate the merits of your rebirth in the West to the husband you once loved most. You should be helping him, not dragging him down. Look at how thin his face is!"

Sentient beings speak:

"(Crying) I cannot bear to let go."

King Chujiang speaks:

"If you cannot bear to let go, you are creating karma again, and your sins will be heavy!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You have sucked him dry, yet you say you love him! He looks completely drained of energy!"

King Chujiang speaks:

"I have already made it clear from the beginning: Yin and Yang cannot be close. You belong to Yin, and he belongs to Yang. Moreover, men are extremely Yang, and you are extremely Yin. If you stay close to him, his Yang energy will gradually dissipate over time. It is you who have caused his current appearance. You do not love him; you are harming him."

Sentient beings speak:

"(Crying) I do not want to harm him. (Crying) I really do not want to harm him."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Then go to the West and dedicate your merits to the husband you love most."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Let go! Come, purify, wash with Buddha-water, purify! Forget the past in your head! The representative is Liang Wenyi, 365 people. If you do not go up, including you, Fang Xin, all of you will go to the Copper Pillar Hell! Come up, come, take refuge in the Buddha, and do not enter hell; take refuge in the Dharma, and do not fall into the hungry ghost realm; take refuge in the Sangha, and do not fall into the animal realm. Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo. Enter, enter. Have you entered? Have all 365 entered?"

Practitioner Canyue speaks:

"Some still will not go up."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"They will not enter? Fine, King of Hell, stand by. If they do not enter, they must go to hell? Enter! I am pushing you in. Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo. Enter! Enter! Quickly!"

Practitioner Canyue speaks:

"It seems they have something to say."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"How many more want to come out? Which one has something to say? Fang Xin, you go in first! As many as can go up, go up. My Buddha is compassionate. Namo Amituofo. Which one wants to come out and speak? Good, come out! Liang Wenyi."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"I was originally a princess. My status was so high, I did not even mind being a secondary consort."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You were a princess, how many lifetimes have you been with Chiu Chia-hung?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"I have been with him for six lifetimes."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Then you have been with him for six lifetimes, Princess Liang Wenyi, did Chiu Chia-hung treat you badly?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"His wife, Lai Po-ya, treated me badly! She framed me and hanged me!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"His wife hanged you, so how did you find Chiu Chia-hung? What is your relationship with him?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"I am on his wife, so I can possess him forever!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"What is the use of possessing him? Did you not hear Fang Xin say just now that you belong to Yin and he belongs to Yang? Do you want to kill him?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"I do not want to harm him!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You are harming him now; his Yang energy has been sucked dry by you all!"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"I just want to have him, I did not know he would be sucked dry."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You women, this is truly a serious matter. You do not know that you are all creating karma. Chiu Chia-hung! Hahaha! You cannot touch women; it is terrifying! You still want to marry a wife? This is a serious matter! You have not suffered enough. Do you want to go up? If you do not go up, you will go to the Iron Bed Hell!"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"But I am very hateful!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"My Buddha is compassionate and will remove your hatred."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"I want to find his wife and take revenge."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"How do you want to take revenge?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"I will make her unable to bear children forever."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"To be honest, your heart is really very bad!"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"If he does not learn Buddhism, he will be very miserable."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"How miserable?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"I will make him develop a tumour, make him die in unbearable pain, and make my husband not want her."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Our Chiu Chia-hung is a person with a conscience; why would he not want her?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"The time has not come yet; who knows if he will change his heart?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You woman are very cruel! Your thoughts are all bad thoughts; how can this be!"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"He used to want to harm us, he used unscrupulous means to kill me, is that not even more cruel?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"It has already been six lifetimes; he has also been to hell, he has also paid the price, he has also suffered the retribution."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"As a princess, I became a secondary consort, I lowered my status, is that not enough? Why did you still have to hang me alive?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Do not be attached anymore! This man has been grabbed by you until he is thin! Are there any more inside? Come out quickly!"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"None of them are willing to forgive his wife."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Not willing to forgive whom?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"The couple. The one I hate most is still his wife."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Why do you also hate Chiu Chia-hung?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"Because some of them knew he wanted to kill us, and he turned a blind eye."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Chiu Chia-hung is not that kind of person!"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"The ones outside that he did not want, he did not know how to solve, so he let his consort handle it. He pretended not to see and secretly killed them. Heaven and Earth know!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"According to what you say, our Chiu Chia-hung has also been to hell?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"What do you think?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"According to this, turning a blind eye means going to hell."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"He is also, sigh! Loving the new and loathing the old."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"But he is saving the world at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, he is inheriting the Buddha's teachings. Now you cannot touch him; he is saving the world, you cannot go and disturb him. Now I ask King Chujiang to be compassionate and resolve this for you, to resolve such complex emotions."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"King Chujiang, these women each have tokens, each comes to demand payment; they are not without reason."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You are looking for him now, Chiu Chia-hung has a heavy responsibility, you cannot touch him. I tell you, do you want to resolve this or not? Otherwise, you all go to the Iron Bed Hell first, or do you want to go to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre Dharma-Nature Land to listen to the Dharma?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"Can I not forgive them?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You do not have to forgive them. It is best if all the spirits in Chiu Chia-hung's body come out and go to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre Dharma-Nature Land to listen to the Dharma. You do not have to forgive them."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"Of course, I cannot forgive them."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You can also see him."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"Especially his wife, I hate her even more. Everyone is gnashing their teeth in hatred, waiting for his energy to fade, and then see how long he can live?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"I tell you, women's jealousy is all creating hell karma! Hahaha! In ancient times, husbands were like heaven, and harming these women is endless!"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"Then we refuse to forgive."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Good, you do not have to resolve it. How many people? Are there still 365?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"There are 267 among them who refuse to resolve it."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Then are you going to the Iron Bed Hell now?"

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"Not to the Iron Bed Hell, can we go up without resolving it?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You do not have to resolve it, you go up and listen to the Dharma, my Buddha is compassionate and wants to save you. The total is 365."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"No resolution."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You can go up without resolving it."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"Because we are still not willing."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Fine, no problem! Let him listen to the Dharma first. Look above! My Buddha is compassionate."

"King Chujiang, is his soul on Fang Xin or on Po-ya?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Are you referring to Chiu Chia-hung?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Yes, yes! Must send it back."

"You (Chia-hung) have two different eyes! You are missing a soul."

"There are still three po souls; his one hun soul and three po souls are missing."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Hidden in a foreign land."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Is the soul in hell?"

"Can I call it back? Come, Chiu Chia-hung's soul, Chiu Chia-hung! Chiu Chia-hung! Return! Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo."

Liang Wenyi speaks:

"You have not sent all these women up, how can you find it! Everyone is surrounding him with thoughts of him."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Right! 365 people, enter, enter, enter! Do not be afraid, all enter, take refuge in the Buddha, do not enter hell; take refuge in the Dharma, do not fall into the hungry ghost realm; take refuge in the Sangha, do not fall into the animal realm. Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, all 365 enter, push! Enter the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre ."

"Good, we are now collecting Chiu Chia-hung's soul! Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Chiu Chia-hung! Chiu Chia-hung! This spirit returns, Namo Amituofo, my Buddha is compassionate, send it back! You cannot touch women, it is terrifying! There are still three po souls, King Chujiang, there are still three po souls."

King Chujiang speaks:

"In this life, Chiu Chia-hung has lived quite uprightly."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Yes, he is a very excellent and good child."

King Chujiang speaks:

"He has not yet reached hell to suffer retribution, and the three po souls are also in the embrace of women, in space, just call them back."

"How dangerous, he did not go to hell! Good, my Buddha opens the space, I see it, they are hugging, some are lying on his lap, being held, I see it all. Come, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Chiu Chia-hung, Chiu Chia-hung! Break the space, my Buddha is compassionate, it has returned, thank you King Chujiang!"

"Your wife, come quickly! Your wife's soul has also run away. Now the Teacher is compassionate, Po-ya's soul is also not there, she cannot master her own mind, she sleeps while walking."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Po-ya child!"

Practitioner Po-ya speaks:

"Yes."

King Chujiang speaks:

"The path of practice is not easy! Are you truly willing to walk it? If the answer is yes, then what should be let go of must be slowly let go of. This is also to protect your safety, after all, the sins created by past ignorance are not small. At this time of achieving yourself and practising, it is normal for those who come to your door to be there, only by letting go can you gradually reduce it. And when you still have one line, two lines, the connection between lines, this is like the connection with karmic creditors, still leaving a way to contact, it is difficult to cut off the lethargy!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"This child is very obedient, must be well adjusted."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Yes! Very much want to achieve, but powerless!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Yes, she falls asleep while standing, falls asleep immediately, sleeps while standing, sleeps while listening to the Dharma."

King Chujiang speaks:

"She has never seen herself like this, actually very afraid, also very much want to solve, break through, but just cannot do it."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"This time returning to Taiwan, you can see your parents are old, and brothers will change, the and , too much thinking will make you old very quickly. Eyes should be able to see? You are practising! This path is not easy to walk, at least Grandma is looking after you."

"Is her soul missing?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Child! Thinking too much! Thinking day and night, thinking less when returning, cannot speak too much when in seclusion in Australia, cannot have too much contact with husband, thinking especially much, but that is the place where emptiness is opened, thinking as much as you want, as much as you get."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"So her complexion is not good when she returns, is she possessed?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Yes! How was your thought after returning home to see your mother?"

Practitioner Po-ya speaks:

"She has become older."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Then do you know how to walk this path? If you do not walk this path, you will not have the ability to save the relatives and friends you care about and love. Learn to be stronger, on this path there will definitely be setbacks of all sizes, falling down, falling until you are covered in bruises is possible, even falling until you are seriously injured, even leaving you with only one breath, is possible. But remember, be fearless! A fearless heart, even if the great fire fills the three thousand worlds, you can still move forward. Whether this path is easy to walk depends on the heart, whether the heart is brave. Why is the Dharma name Fayi (Dharma Perseverance)?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Lai Po-ya, come! King Chujiang has a question to ask you."

Practitioner Po-ya speaks:

"My parents do not know I am practising, I went for seven months and they do not understand. I really want to go, but I am in a dilemma, I do not know what to do, and next I have to go for a year, I do not know how to open my mouth."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"They do not let you learn Buddhism?"

Practitioner Po-ya speaks:

"They do not know I am learning Buddhism, I cannot tell them, if I tell them I cannot go."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Otherwise you say you are studying there."

Practitioner Po-ya speaks:

"They do not understand why I went for so long, they think three months is enough, they do not understand why I went for seven months, they are very unhappy. I do not know."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You do not have the wisdom to answer! So you do not know. Please King Chujiang be compassionate and give her a solution, King Chujiang be compassionate."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Child! First look at it from a secular perspective, is it not normal? In the secular world, who does not hope that when they are old, their most beloved family, children, and grandchildren will be by their side? Moreover, if the family is not a person who learns Buddhism, how can they understand what learning Buddhism is! And if there are people in the family who learn Buddhism, they may not necessarily understand what the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is doing. Otherwise, why are there so many famous eminent monks today, child, see how these people practise?"

"This is quite normal in the age of the Dharma's decline; in the age of the Dharma's decline, nine out of ten families do not support their children in learning Buddhism; while in the past, in the age of the True Teachings and the age of the Image Dharma, nine out of ten supported their children in learning Buddhism. In the age of the True Teachings, ten out of ten, children who wanted to learn Buddhism were personally sent into the Buddha's gate. Even becoming a great master by shaving one's head to learn Buddhism was the glory of the family. The age of the True Teachings and the age of the Dharma's decline are different! Just from the literal meaning, True and Decline are different."

"So from these broad perspectives, Po-ya child, the parents' reactions are normal. Then from my perspective as King Chujiang, besides their own karma pulling them, there is also your karma, child! It is not that you harmed them, it is because you are trying to achieve, to turn over the entire ancestral karma of your Lai family. Why is it always called ancestral karma, passed down to descendants, ancestral karma, that karma is not the karma you like, it is the karma of sin. Being able to become a family is karma pulling, being able to become a family is either repaying kindness or repaying hatred, there must be collective karma, common karmic creditors, together forming a family to pull each other."

"Family is a bond, a bond that prevents you from returning to the West, a bond that prevents you from being liberated from the six realms of rebirth. If I do not bond you, you leave, who can I ask for payment? You made me have no descendants that year, this year I will make your descendants restless, this is ancestral karma. It is not only the Lai family that has it, the hundred surnames, the Chinese nation's hundred surnames are all like this, everyone is the same. If you are not enemies, you will not meet. And Po-ya child, this trip back home, besides the parents not understanding the matter of learning Buddhism, should have also discovered why their anger is so hard to extinguish, right? This is one, it is not their original intention, their anger is not their anger."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Is it being used by sentient beings?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Yes! And the second is to hold you back, to bond you, he knows you are afraid, so he manifests such a scene for you to see."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Your karmic creditors are on your father and mother."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Yes! The third is of course to reflect on yourself, effort is not enough, so you cannot avoid such a situation, cannot subdue these waiting karmic creditors. Dismantled like this, child, do you know which direction you should walk? If you follow what your parents expect, stay in Taiwan and be a good wife, return to your maiden home and be an obedient daughter to your parents, listen, be sensible, find another job in Taiwan and do it well, work hard with your husband, hope to have a child, and properly be a perfect family in the world."

"You can choose this, follow your parents' wishes, properly fulfill your so-called filial piety; or you can sacrifice your family for the sake of righteousness, my parents say so, I can understand, I also know, now I know why they say this, I know your anger comes from karma, I am to turn your karma, now no matter how you hit me, scold me, I am not afraid, I endure, I can bear, I practise patience."

"But I let go at the moment, I wait for one day when you see my goodness. So this letting go is not letting go, it is waiting. Just like the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are compassionate, so many spirits are in the sea of karma of the Saha world, about to sink, about to drown, about to perish, but you do not listen to the Buddha's words, the Buddha can only let go first, but he has been waiting, waiting for you to surface again to pull you. Child, do you know this must be very painful! But it depends on whether you are willing to be painful first, and then save the whole Lai family, or even the Chiu family, it also depends on whether the child is willing to do so."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"That is to say, you want to resolve the karmic creditors on you earlier, or for the birth, aging, sickness, and death of the few people in your family, life after life, death after death, King Chujiang, is this what you mean?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"For your own family, it is not necessarily truly good for them, they have not understood the truth of the universe, have not come to learn Buddhism, does Po-ya not know either! Come here to see, experience personally, experience personally, can this be fake? Being able to have such blessings to come to this place, you must cherish it well. And being able to meet such good affinity in this husband's family, being able to practise well as a couple, if Po-ya settles her heart to truly practise, this Chia-hung will definitely be able to settle his heart, the couple is pulling and dragging each other."

"As for what Po-ya is worried about, it depends on whether you have the courage to break through, and how to explain to the parents? There are two ways, one is that paper cannot wrap fire, you can just say it straight, even if they are furious, ask to sever the relationship, see if you can bear it, this is one, straightforward, but also the most fundamental and ultimate method; and the second is to hide it! Use other things to fill in. For example, what you thought of, living at a friend's house or a relative's house, but this is easy to arouse suspicion, and there will be other reasons, for example, why it cannot be done in Taiwan, why you have to go to such a far place as Australia?"

"But have you ever thought, even in Taiwan, the contact with the maiden home is not frequent, nor is it every second, why must you be tied tightly? If this is not karma, what is it? Why is it that when I say I want to practise, if I say I want to go abroad for a month, a year, go around the world for a year, why can I, why can I not go to practise for a year? The tricks that karmic creditors can play are just these, breaking through also depends on yourself."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Has Po-ya's soul been seized?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Mostly covered."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Covered a lot, right, has the spirit been seized? Because she can sleep while standing, walks into the wall and does not know, is the spirit seized?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"In hell."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Is one soul in hell?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Not just one soul."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"How many souls? I see Po-ya's body is empty inside."

King Chujiang speaks:

"One hun soul and seven po souls."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"One hun soul and seven po souls are not there? Po-ya! I see your body is empty. Her seven po souls are not there, that is why it is so empty. One hun soul is in hell, why is it in hell?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Found the past karma."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Did she walk into a dream and someone pulled her away?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"No need to be in a dream, brought into suffering in reality."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Then when was she seized? Because I see you are empty inside, Po-ya."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Seized recently. How old are you this year?"

Practitioner Po-ya speaks:

"Thirty-eight years old."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Last year at thirty-seven, she suffered retribution in hell, currently walking to the third hall."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"In the third hall, can I invite her up? Do her sentient beings need to be resolved? No resolution? Then can I invite her out to talk to her?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"The child has not faced her own karma. Although she has been obedient and sensible in this life, and her personality is pure and kind, in the past, in order to snatch her husband, she used medicine to frame others out of jealousy, these are all true facts, these karmas are all there. So these women who were framed and killed, whether they were consorts or concubines, will not let go, they hate! Why do people say do not touch women, when women get hateful, they are like fierce ghosts."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Women in ancient times would do anything for themselves, like a snake's heart."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Yes!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"King Chujiang be compassionate, can Lai Po-ya's soul in the third hall be invited back? The seven po souls are not there, I see her body is empty."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Seems empty but not empty."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Oh! King Chujiang, I understand, now her body is being used, so the seven po souls are all Chiu Chia-hung's women occupying her body."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Yes!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"So her body cannot master its own mind, right?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Yes! Even if she looks energetic, if you look closely, Po-ya's face is not a human face. Child! This path must be walked, besides the first one being to save yourself, otherwise, just like what was just said, you will get sick and very sick."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"I see her energy, she is already sick."

King Chujiang speaks:

"And the most beloved husband will change his heart, this is truly, truly true. Do not think it is impossible, even a good person, once possessed, can have a complete change in attitude, by then even if you cry and beg, you will not be able to call back your husband's heart, because Chia-hung cannot master his own mind either, only by practising can he seek self-protection."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"The seven po souls not being there means your seven po souls' body is all occupied, that is why you are so thin, that is why I see your body is empty. I request the Teacher to invite the King of Hell, King Chujiang, up, just to solve the problem of the fourfold assembly of disciples of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Now I also hope to resolve it, the sentient beings in the seven places can come out, otherwise your body will collapse."

King Chujiang speaks:

"Seven female beings must all be stated."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"There are seven?"

(King Chujiang writes: Li Pinyan, Chen Tianxiang, Jian Erni, Xu Baobing, Zhou Deming, Ji Xiaoxiang, Zhao Mengqing.)

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Need one to come out as a representative."

King Chujiang speaks:

"By Jiaxian receiving the signal, the strongest one will come out."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"The strongest one, let Jiaxian look, representative Chen Tianxiang come out, you are squeezing our Chiu Chia-hung dry! You want to squeeze him dry, very heartless!"

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"He belongs to me."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Now it is not about belonging to you or not, now it is under my jurisdiction, are you few going to the Iron Bed Hell?"

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"We sisters each have our own measure, I will not monopolize one person, I have a heart, I also share with my sisters, I will not monopolize."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Now it is not about monopolizing, now you cannot be on Po-ya, Po-ya needs to practise."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"He loves her, I also love him! Without him how can we..."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"This love of his is compassion, must let him grow first."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"I am also compassionate! I am so compassionate, I share with them, I do not monopolize alone!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Sharing, do you want to see your prince die? Now do you want to resolve it or not?"

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"What is called resolving?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Come, look at the West! My Buddha is compassionate and cannot be on him, because he has a mission to save the world."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"I just want to be on him, I do not force it."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Being on Lai Po-ya is finished, controlling his head, how can he practise! So you must come out."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Why?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"If you do not come out, I will send you to hell, look at the Iron Bed Hell!"

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Why must it be like this?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Now it is not why, Yin and Yang are different, you cannot be on Po-ya."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"I can only be on him, so I can be with my husband."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Now you cannot be on him, all seven of you must come out, his three hun souls and seven po souls must be sent home."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Then what should we do?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"You can go to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre Western Dharma-Nature Land to listen to the Dharma, you can see him every day."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Every day?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Yes."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Impossible!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Possible. I want to save you!"

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"If I come out, someone else will go in."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"No."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"He will occupy my position."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Whose position?"

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"If I come out, someone else will go in!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Now it is not about whether you come out or not, now no one can enter him! Now King Chujiang has come out, if you do not come out..."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"If I come out, someone else will go in, there are many, many waiting."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"I will seal it, do not worry. Now he is a safe, I lock it and no one can enter. Come out! Let him see, look at the West, my Buddha is compassionate."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"If I come out, someone else will really take my position."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"No, you can see your prince every day."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Can I see him every day?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Yes!"

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Do you guarantee it?"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Guarantee you can see, he is above, my Buddha is compassionate. There are two paths, one is the Iron Bed Hell, one is to go up to the Dharma-Nature Land to listen to the Dharma."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Then you must promise me."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"No problem! You can see him every day."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Every day!"

Practitioner Su speaks:

"That is to be able to take care of him."

Chen Tianxiang speaks:

"Life after life."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Good, go up! Enter, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, come out! My Buddha is compassionate, the lotus is infinitely large, as long as you make a vow, you can be reborn. King Chujiang! Now his po souls must be captured. Invite King Chujiang, now his seven po souls have come out, then where are his seven po souls?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Women, people do not want them, just like garbage being thrown away, scattered everywhere."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Where are his seven po souls?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"This is a metaphor, it is scattered in emptiness."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"In space! He kicked you out into space. Can they be called back?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Need to concentrate."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Come, concentrate! Stand up, Lai Po-ya! Lai Po-ya! Return to me! Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, break through space, enter! Did it enter?"

King Chujiang speaks:

"Not all yet."

Practitioner Su speaks:

"Namo Amituofo, Lai Po-ya in space! Namo Amituofo, Lai Po-ya! Namo Amituofo, Lai Po-ya! Return! Finally entered. Lai Po-ya, you go to the front Buddha hall and bow."
