Teachings from Namo Amituofo, recorded by Venerable HaiZe.

The Burden of Accumulated

Due to our individual personality, volatile temper, and the weight of our accumulated karma, we act as magnets for various unseen influences. These include , attached spirits, and even demon crowds. When these entities continuously accumulate within our bodies, they impose a heavy burden upon our physical form. This often manifests as premature aging, persistent illness, and deep physical suffering. Furthermore, this internal imbalance frequently leads to significant mental and emotional distress. As suffers from illness and age, our heart and spirit are dragged down into the depths of pain, causing us to lose our natural sensitivity, clarity, and inner stability.

The Synergy of Two Powers

At such a critical juncture, it is absolutely essential to cultivate sincere shame, engage in deep repenting, and truly change your ways. Only through this process can there be a possibility of resolving these grievances. However, it is often difficult for karmic creditors to reach a state of sincere shame, repentance, and change on their own. Because of this, our individual effort alone is often insufficient to gain the understanding and reconciliation needed to resolve these deep-seated conflicts. This is why we require the support of the Two Powers:

  • The Power of the Buddha:
  • This includes the light of Namo Amituofo, the guidance of true spiritual friends, and the immense power of the Buddha's , wisdom, and merit. The Power of the : This provides the necessary assistance to help these spirits listen to the sutras and hear the .

When these beings are willing to accept this reconciliation, the invitation to join the practice, and the spiritual deliverance of , the problems of aging, illness, and the suffering of the body, heart, and spirit can be effectively eased and healed. This is the essence of our spiritual healing method.

The Sacred Rhythm of Daily Practice

Regarding the portion of self-effort, there is a fundamental duty that you must never neglect, regardless of where you are, what time it is, or what circumstances you face. This duty is your daily practice. Daily practice is a wonderful method for diligently nurturing your character and heart. Consider the profound benefits of these essential activities:

  • Prostrations:
  • By bowing to the Buddha, you dissolve karma and facilitate the purification of your body, heart, and spirit.Chant Buddha's name:
  • This practice clears the mind and aligns your energy with the Buddha.Spiritual deliverance:
  • Through the practice of visualisation and Chao Du, you can nurture your compassion and transform your karma.Recite the Sutras: This allows you to uphold the Discipline, stabilise your meditative concentration, and cultivate Wisdom, ensuring that the three studies are practised together.

Therefore, the fourfold assembly of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre must take their daily practice seriously and perform it with diligence. This is the path of purification, and it serves as the vital source of energy for your body, heart, and spirit every single day.
