The Spirits speak:

"Namo Amituofo. We were all still deep in our dreams when, suddenly, a ferocious wind began to howl outside. It was not just a breeze; it was a roar that shook the very foundations of our world. Objects were being torn from the earth, and the sound was deafening—a chaotic, terrifying symphony of destruction. People inside their homes rushed to the windows or doors to see what was happening, only to be met with the sight of a massive, swirling tornado. In a single, heart-stopping instant, our homes were ripped from their moorings, and we were swept up into the vortex. The tornado carried away immeasurable and boundless creatures, tossing us about like leaves in a storm. It felt as though the wind blew for an eternity. When the tornado finally ceased, the farmstead was nothing but a scene of absolute devastation. Not a single person had survived. Not one house remained standing. It looked as if a fleet of tanks had rolled over the land, flattening everything in its path. All that remained of our homes were a few scattered pieces of timber, lying broken and chaotic upon the ruined earth."

A Cycle of Endless Terror

"We were trapped in that dark, intermediate space, still suffering, still reliving the horror. The tornado kept returning, striking again and again in our memories. Fear and panic were like chains, binding us tightly. In that suffocating darkness, we could do nothing but weep and pray for it all to stop. We were lost, terrified, and completely helpless. Then, the Buddha-light shone down upon us. A vast, brilliant radiance pierced through the darkness. When we saw the Buddha-light, we did not immediately understand that the Buddha had come for us, but we knew one thing: for the first time in what felt like an age of darkness, there was light. We realised, deep in our hearts, that we were finally saved!"

Purification and Rebirth

"As the Buddha-light touched us, the tornado stopped completely. All the broken, shattered houses and the ruined landscape were restored to their original state. The overwhelming panic and the lingering terror were washed away, purified by that compassionate glow. Everything came to a peaceful stillness. We felt the weight of our suffering lift, and we followed the Buddha-light, journeying toward the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo."
