This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Zhou Enlai, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his observations of the karmic state of others and the nature of existence. Recorded by the chief writer, Cao Rudi, on February 27, 2018.

Zhou Enlai speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Over these past days, under the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su, I have been deeply struck by the terrifying nature of the hells and the profound suffering of all beings. The of Practitioner Su is not merely directed toward saving me; my , accumulated over countless eons, are also in dire need of deliverance. Since the beginning of time, Practitioner Su has upheld the same noble philosophy of saving the world through compassion. This is a once-in-a-thousand-years opportunity for these karmic creditors to seek rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The Compassion of Practitioner Su

Although the primary task of this journey was to watch over Mr. Li, my own experience in the hells has left me with a heart full of emotion and deep gratitude for Practitioner Su, who rescued me from the suffering of the hells and enabled my rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Having personally benefited from this, I sincerely hope that Mr. Li might also receive such . When I first met Practitioner Su, I was already a spirit; fortunately, Keqiang still possesses a human body. If he can use the remainder of his life to exert even a modest effort to help beings truly understand the True Teachings of the Pure Land and the boundless, vast nature of the Buddha’s teachings, it would be a great merit.

The Weight of and the Brain-Gouging Hell

During today's journey through the hells, when Comrade Keqiang passed through the brain-gouging hell, a crowd of his karmic creditors spotted him from afar. Had it not been for the intervention of the hell guards, they would have likely swarmed upon him instantly. I could only hear them shouting, 'Return our homes! Return our wives and children! Return our country!' Every one of these karmic creditors was unrecognisable, their cries were tragic and piercing. Looking at that endless wall of suffering beings, I finally realised the magnitude of the karma one creates. I could not see any sign of repenting in Comrade Keqiang; I could only sense his overwhelming fear. Humans are forgetful; they long ago forgot the karma they created in the past. Yet, the reality is that these karmic creditors exist as an undeniable fact. When one holds high office and great power, the karma created is equally immense. If Comrade Keqiang does not truly awaken and dedicate his remaining life to the Buddha’s work, the burden of the laws of karma and cause and effect will be accounted for, down to the very last detail.

The Illusion of Power and the Path to

Regarding Jiang Zemin, whom Practitioner Su mentioned yesterday, I have seen him as well. If a person cannot master their own heart, then in their old age, with a body riddled by illness, lying on a hospital bed and being manipulated by others, they have no dignity left to speak of. A hero of his generation, if he lacks a healthy body in his twilight years, is worse off than an ordinary person. Power is false, money is false, and the red dust of this world is also false. One must look at oneself: do you wish to be a puppet manipulated by others, or will you follow the footsteps of Namo Amituofo? Whether he uses the rest of his life to help beings recognise the truly vast Buddha’s teachings depends entirely on whether Comrade Keqiang can wake up. Practitioner Su’s compassion is such that he has also tried his best to guide Keqiang’s karmic creditors to seek rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, though he does not force them. All I can do to help is to frequently remind Comrade Keqiang to maintain right , but ultimately, everything depends on his own efforts and vow to achieve the final result.

Namo Amituofo."
