The Turning of the Earth
An Interview with Venerable Chang Ren
Recorded on October 19, 2022
Venerable Chang Ren is a monastic who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. This interview was recorded on October 19, 2022, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, where Venerable Chang Ren currently resides.
Venerable Chang Ren speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Chang Ren. As human character shifts, the Earth itself undergoes a transformation. It is only through the Chao Du performed by Practitioner Su that the Earth has begun to slowly turn toward a state of Goodness.
The Power of Human Thought
The thoughts within the human head can drive the magnetic field around us to change in tandem. Think about a family where everyone is accustomed to negative thinking; if a sensitive person were to enter that home, they would absolutely be able to feel that the magnetic field within is different. The Earth is exactly the same. Every person's character can influence the Earth. If one person thinks good thoughts, and then two people think good thoughts, the Earth's magnetic field improves accordingly. However, if one person thinks evil thoughts, and then two people think evil thoughts, the Earth's magnetic field shifts toward the negative. At that point, the impact extends to all living things on Earth, because the climate will change, and disasters will follow in the wake of human evil thoughts. The entire Earth will undergo changes as a result.
The Battle Against the Demon Crowds
Within these changes, what we see is that the human heart summons corresponding spirits and . Among these spirits, there are vast numbers of demon crowds. When Practitioner Su attained her and began performing Chao Du, she actively worked to save these demon crowds. Consequently, the demon crowds that had come to interfere with the Earth were rapidly subdued by Practitioner Su.
The Transformation of Space
Under the Chao Du of Practitioner Su, vast amounts of space have been transformed toward Goodness. Many evil spirits and malevolent spirits that originally existed within these spaces have come to the temple during each to seek Spiritual Deliverance. The true nature of these spirits is actually good; it is just that no one had ever corrected them before. Therefore, when they are transformed by the positive power, positive magnetic field, and Buddha-light brought by Practitioner Su, they begin to change. Some have even listened to the sutras taught by Practitioner Su, realised their mistakes, repented, and come to seek Spiritual Deliverance. Because of Practitioner Su's powerful Chao Du, a great many spirits in the spaces of the Earth are changing along with her. Some spaces have disappeared due to this Chao Du. Many spirits residing in the inconspicuous corners of the Earth are able to be saved through being bathed in Buddha light and hearing the Buddha-name being chanted.
The Orbiting Bodhisattvas
Furthermore, all the Bodhisattvas who are currently orbiting the Earth are also working to transform the Earth's magnetic field. With every single phrase of the Buddha-name they chant, and with every circle they make, they are saving an uncountable number of sentient beings. These sentient beings are slowly beginning to understand how to follow along and chant the Buddha's name. As long as they are willing to chant, they can all be saved.
The power of Chao Du is inconceivable, and the propagation of the Buddha’s teachings is indispensable. By continuously transmitting right and thoughts of Goodness, and by continuously performing Chao Du for the Earth, we will be able to help the Earth turn toward the right path. Namo Amituofo."
