Words of Namo Amituofo:
In the heart of Namo Amituofo, the act of saving beings and helping them leave suffering behind is a natural, inherent function. In truth, Namo Amituofo does not possess a mind that thinks, "I must save these beings," or "I must perform this duty." It is simply that the nature of the Buddha is such that this is how it manifests. It is the spontaneous, effortless expression of the original nature.
The Nature of Effortless
Namo Amituofo has no wandering thoughts and no conceptual deliberations. Everything that is done and everything that is said is a direct response to the needs of beings. Because there is no ego, there is not a single trace of self-interest. There is no seeking of reward or recognition; the work of saving beings continues without pause. This is the true hearts and actions of an awakened being who has realised their true nature and is dedicated to save the world.
The Obstacles of
For those of us who are still in the process of practice, we often find ourselves hindered by our own attachments. If you hold onto a sense of "self" or "mine," you will inevitably encounter obstacles. When you place your own desires, needs, and personal interests at the forefront of your life, it becomes difficult to break through your current limitations and make progress on the path. However, if you can let go of the self and act with a heart of , you will find the courage to move forward directly. This is the very opportunity for breakthrough and growth that you have been seeking.
The Process of Purification
Realising one's true nature is a process of constant breakthrough and diligent practice. It is the journey of remove defilements and attain purity, a cycle of purification upon purification. As you continue to refine your hearts and actions, you will find that your original nature begins to shine through the clouds of confusion. This is the path from confusion to , from wrong paths to the right path, and from impurity to purity.
The
The suffering of beings is vast and seemingly endless; therefore, the work of saving them never ceases. This is the perspective of the One Body, the way of life for those who have realise one's true nature and attain Buddhahood. Because beings are in constant need of salvation and support, the Buddha or does not abandon them. They take on the suffering of others as their own, working tirelessly to save them. This is the manifestation of the great compassion of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
A Call to the Practitioner
My children, you must ask yourselves: do you wish to remain merely as those who are saved, or will you strive with diligent practice to transform? Will you elevate yourselves from being a sufferer who needs to be rescued, to becoming a saviour who helps others leave suffering behind and find rebirth in the ? The choice is yours, and the path is open to all who are willing to walk it with a sincere heart.
