This process is a natural phenomenon; it unfolds according to the laws of nature and cannot be forced through artificial effort. Everything operates in its own time and according to its own conditions.

Regardless of how much time has passed or how great the distance, all moments and all places merge into a single, unified 'One.' In this state, the present moment becomes a gateway where one can know, see, hear, and perceive everything. This is the true function of the Six Roots. This is the state of Buddha or Bodhisattva, and it is the state of those who have realised their true nature.

The Limitations of the Ordinary World

In contrast, the Body-Mind-Spirit of ordinary people remains stained by defilements. We are limited to perceiving the world through the functions of our physical organs. Consider the constraints we face in our daily lives: if our eyes suffer from severe disease or blindness, we cannot see the world clearly; if our ears are deaf, we cannot hear the sounds around us; if our nose, tongue, body, or mind are impaired, or if our limbs are damaged, our ability to function and move is severely restricted.

The World of Karma and Reincarnation

This is the world of ordinary people—a world governed by karma. The world of karma is inextricably linked to our karmic creditors, attached spirits, and even the influence of demon crowds. It is the world inhabited by beings trapped in the cycle of being reincarnated. It is a realm defined by karmic conditions and the causes and effects that govern every phenomenon. Everything we experience arises and ceases according to these conditions; this is what we call 'the world of the body.'

True Cultivation and the Path Forward

As a practitioner, you must understand this clearly. Do not be deceived by the sensations of the body, nor by any phenomenon or relationship that extends from this physical form. You must remain clear-headed and vigilant. Use this body wisely to engage in True Cultivation. By refining your Body-Mind-Spirit and allowing your Six Roots to function at their highest potential, you will eventually reach the state of Awakening. Only then will you truly honour the value of this life. Namo Amituofo.
