This is a record of an interview with Venerable Yongning, who discusses the profound and compassionate work of Space performed by Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. This account explores the nature of dimensions and the salvation of sentient beings trapped within them. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fajing, on October 4, 2022.

Venerable Yongning speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. As soon as the sound of the Buddha-name begins to resonate, it permeates every corner of time and space. The sentient beings dwelling within these various dimensions hear this sacred sound, and for many, it is the moment they finally awaken. When the of Practitioner Su arrives, these beings cry out in astonishment and relief. They have been waiting for an eternity, yearning for the arrival of Practitioner Su’s Body to rescue them and help them leave their suffering behind.

The Infinite Nature of Space

How many spaces, or dimensions, actually exist within this entire universe? It is a number that is utterly impossible to calculate. As Practitioner Su has explained, new spaces are being formed every single fraction of a second. Imagine ten people standing in a room at this very moment; in the next second, if those ten people shift their positions, a new space has been created within that tiny, fleeting second. The space from one second ago and the space of the current second are clearly and fundamentally different.

To understand this even more clearly, consider a more dramatic shift: one minute, a house stands perfectly intact. The next minute, a violent earthquake strikes, and the house collapses into ruins. The contrast between these two moments is stark; they are two entirely different spaces. Every single moment, spaces are constantly being formed, and they all continue to exist in their own way. Practitioner Su, with boundless , performs Chao Du for the sentient beings trapped within these spaces. No one else has ever been able to deliver them in this way, because it requires someone who possesses a Dharma Body, like Practitioner Su, to enter these dimensions and physically guide these beings out of their confinement.

The Waiting Souls

During our daily morning sessions and the , countless beings are waiting to be saved. These beings who are waiting for deliverance are those who have already begun to awaken. Perhaps they have heard the Buddha-name many times, and gradually, they have stirred from their slumber within these spaces. They have come to understand that they must seek Practitioner Su to perform Chao Du for them. Therefore, when the Dharma Body of Practitioner Su arrives, they are filled with immense , chanting the Buddha-name loudly and fervently to request their deliverance.

A Moment of Eternal Suffering

Today, I, Yongning, witnessed a space that was finally being saved. In this particular dimension, the scene was filled with civilians desperately trying to escape a war. This space existed within a thick, white mist—it looked like ordinary, harmless fog, yet it concealed such a tragic reality. The people were running forward incessantly, their faces etched with absolute panic and confusion. Middle-aged parents were pulling their children along, carrying their elderly parents on their backs, running without pause. They were fleeing for their lives. The atmosphere in this space was suffocatingly tense. Many were shouting at the top of their lungs, 'Hurry! Run faster!' No one dared to stop, even for a second. To survive, they pushed themselves to their absolute limits, and even when they could no longer move, they continued to crawl forward in desperation. Sadly, many were physically exhausted and collapsed to the ground, only to be trampled by the crowd in the chaos.

The Golden Light of Deliverance

Scenes like this are constantly repeating within these spaces, because that is the nature of these trapped dimensions. When the Dharma Body of Practitioner Su arrived with infinite compassion, a brilliant golden light shone down, instantly bringing the entire space to a standstill. The civilians inside saw the golden light ahead and all stopped in their tracks. Suddenly, they were fully awake. They heard the clear, resonant sound of the Buddha-name, and following that sacred sound, they were finally able to leave that space of suffering behind.

This was merely one space affected by the horrors of war. There are countless other spaces where the spirits are enduring the exact same agony. Under the deliverance of Practitioner Su’s Dharma Body, they are finally able to be saved. But until that moment of salvation arrives, they continue to suffer in the darkness. I, Yongning, truly hope that I can also do my utmost to help these sentient beings, to assist them in leaving these spaces as soon as possible so that they are no longer trapped within them.

Namo Amituofo.
