A Day of Great and Deliverance

Today marks another glorious and auspicious day at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. The air is filled with the profound resonance of the , a grand assembly dedicated to the sacred work of . As I observe the proceedings from the realm of the spirit, I see Practitioner Su once again guiding many family members of the fourfold assembly toward the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is a sight of immense , a direct hand reaching out to pull these souls into the light of Namo Amituofo.

As a mother, watching these souls find their way home brings a mixture of profound relief and deep, lingering emotion. It is a difficult journey for those who have lost their way in the cycle of rebirth, yet today, they are being led by the light of the Buddha. I am particularly comforted to see that the spirit of the Venerable Master Chin Kung is also participating in this assembly. His presence adds a layer of profound grace to our gathering, reminding us all that the transcends the boundaries of life and death.

A Mother’s Heartfelt Plea

To the Venerable Master Chin Kung, whom I hold in the highest esteem: I hope that as your spirit returns to its original nature, you still remember the events of this day at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I humbly request that you grant permission for Venerable Ding Hong to travel to Australia. It is my deepest wish as a mother that he may come to this sacred place to assist me in my journey to be reborn in the Western Pure Land.

I believe that you, Master, have witnessed the entirety of this Chao Du assembly. You have seen how compassionate and genuine the work is here. It is my sincere hope that Venerable Ding Hong may learn the same capacity for Chao Du and the same profound power of visualization that Practitioner Su possesses. By mastering these skills, he will be able to extend his reach and help countless more suffering beings who are currently lost in the darkness of the six realms of rebirth.

The Legacy of the Dharma

In the eyes of Venerable Ding Hong, you have always been like a compassionate father. Because of this, he follows your teachings with unwavering devotion and would never dare to act against your wishes. I ask you, Master, to look upon this request with compassion. Please allow Venerable Ding Hong to embark on this journey to participate in the Thrice Yearning Ceremony and guide his mother to be reborn in the Western Pure Land. Surely, this request is not too much to ask of a heart as vast as yours.

If you, Master, would take the time to reflect deeply on how the long-standing experience of the Pure Land societies could be combined with the practical, proven power of Chao Du at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, it would be a tremendous blessing for the continuation of the Dharma lineage in this age of the decline of the Dharma. I must seize the opportunity while your spirit is here to speak the words that weigh upon my heart. I no longer possess a physical body, and in this world, it is likely impossible to find another place where such spirit-to-spirit communication can occur. Only here, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, do Practitioner Su and the ordained members of the community possess the unique ability to assist those of us without physical forms, allowing us to convey our innermost thoughts so that the world may understand.

The Virtue of Mutual Support

I have always held you, Master, in the highest respect. Did you not always teach us that if we wish for the Buddha’s teachings to flourish, only monks praising monks can achieve this? Practitioner Su has shown great filial piety toward you, Master. She dedicates all the merit and achievements of this work to you, never seeking anything in return. I trust that your spirit, participating in this assembly, sees all of this with absolute clarity.

If it were not for the sake of preserving the Dharma lineage, Practitioner Su would not need to work so tirelessly. She has long since attained the state of a being of the Western Pure Land, moving freely between realms without any obstacles. Master, even the length of her own life is something Practitioner Su can now decide with . With her vast mind-capacity, she attributes all these achievements entirely to your teachings. If there are still voices that oppose Practitioner Su, they are, in truth, opposing your own teachings.

I remain here in Australia, waiting with a hopeful heart for your favourable response.
