When Will the Heart Be Clear?
Teachings from Namo Amituofo
The Clarity of the True Heart
Practice is the path we take to live in a world where we can clearly understand and perceive the truth of reality. We must strive to ensure that we are not deceived by the illusory environments and false appearances of this world. When we achieve this clarity of heart, we gain the ability to save those who are lost within the confusion of their own minds. To reach this state is to become an awakened being.
Breaking Free from the Cycle of Suffering
If we have not yet transformed our and have not yet reached , we remain under the control of karmic forces. We have not yet recognised the truth of reality, and we remain in the midst of suffering. We are plagued by the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death, and we are unable to be the masters of our own lives. Because we do not yet know our true self or understand the laws of karma and cause and effect, we continue to drift through the cycle of rebirth, wandering between this world and others, lost in the endless cycle of samsara.
The Power of Letting Go
Practice is about letting go of the past and discarding the illusory to seek the truth. When the heart is clear, we understand that we do not need to suffer. Everything begins with the heart. If the heart is full of suffering, then everything we experience is suffering. However, if the heart is not suffering, everything can be transformed. We can understand the world without being misled by its distractions.
