The Clearing of the Mind

When you listen to the sutras and hear the Dharma, you may suddenly experience a moment of profound awakening. This is the moment when the confusion that has long clouded your heart begins to dissolve. The obstacles that once blocked your path are cleared away, allowing the wisdom of your true nature to flow as freely as a mountain stream. As your heart opens and your understanding deepens, the darkness that once resided within you is replaced by the radiant light of truth.

The Guidance of the Buddha

The teachings provided by Namo Amituofo, the compassionate counseling offered by your teachers, and the lectures delivered by Practitioner Su act as a beacon in the night. Imagine yourself walking along a dark and treacherous path; suddenly, a brilliant light appears before you. By following this light, you are guided forward until you can see clearly. This process is the essence of removing defilements and attaining purity, allowing the pure light of your original nature to manifest once more.

The Transformation of the Demon Realm

For aeons—whether for a hundred, a thousand, a million, or even a trillion years—demonic beings have lived in a world of profound darkness. Because Practitioner Su possesses a great heart and the courage to subdue these forces, the very spaces where these beings reside have been opened. With the blessing of Namo Amituofo, these beings in the dark world are finally able to witness the Buddha-light. This light shines throughout the Dharma Realm, the universe, the Milky Way, the heavens beyond the heavens, and reaches even the demonic beings, other realms, and the Earth itself.

The Path to Rebirth

When these beings witness the light, the Buddha-light guides them into the Dharma-Nature Land. They leave the Demon Realm behind and enter the Buddha's path, turning away from evil to embrace Goodness. This is their moment of rebirth. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a kingdom of purity and supreme Goodness. It is a realm where the Three Evil Realms—the hells, the hungry ghosts, and the animal realm—do not exist. In that place, the light shines everywhere; the ground is made of gold, and the seven-jewelled ponds are filled with the eight virtues of water. There, all superior beings gather in one place.

The Precious Land of Hsiang Kuang

We pray that all beings may hear the holy name of Namo Amituofo, recite it with sincerity, and make the vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. By doing so, they will forever leave the cycle of rebirth and the evil realms behind, witnessing the light of eternal life. The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, serves as a Western Land of Dharma Nature—a Pure Land of light. Here, spirits and demonic beings who receive Chao Du are able to enter this land to listen to the sutras and hear the Dharma.
