The Fleeting Nature of Human Life

My dear children, how many years have you spent wandering in this human world? Whether it has been six years, seven, nine, eleven, or perhaps twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, or even eighty years, have you truly paused to reflect on the changes that have occurred within you? These changes are constant, occurring not just year by year, but in every passing hour, every minute, and every single second. Have you, my children, been mindful enough to notice them?

Since you have been born into this world, you must ask yourself: are you moving closer to the suffering of aging, sickness, and death with every passing moment? Or are you, through your diligent practice, gradually moving further away from these inevitable hardships? Perhaps you have already begun to transform your karma, distancing yourself from the cycle of suffering. Are you now able to master your own life and death, moving freely between this world and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss?

The Pure Land is Within Your Heart

My children, you often wonder about the distance between the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Is it ten trillion Buddha-lands away, or is it right before your eyes? The answer lies entirely within your own heart. In truth, the Buddha is always present in a place where you can see Him.

At the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the Buddha-light shines continuously, 24/7, without interruption. This light is available to you at any moment, provided your heart is open to receive it. While the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss may exist in different dimensions of space, in terms of the Dharma-nature, they are not separate.

Transcending the Boundaries of Space and Time

Those who have realised their true nature have already broken through the barriers of time and space. Their Buddha-nature is fused with the very fabric of the universe, existing beyond the limitations of the physical world. Because Practitioner Su is of one heart with Namo Amituofo, he is naturally able to travel freely to and from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. You, too, must learn to look beyond the immediate horizon.

The work of Namo Amituofo is vast and all-encompassing. It is not limited to a single location or a single group of people. You can expand this work from every individual being to encompass the six realms of existence, the four holy realms, and the ten directions of the Dharma realm, reaching into the infinite galaxy and the boundless void. This expansion depends entirely on your heart and your willingness to advance and exert your efforts.

As long as your intentions are rooted in pure Goodness, as long as you keep the Buddha-name in your heart, and as long as you dedicate your practice to saving beings and helping them leave suffering behind to be reborn in the Western Pure Land, Namo Amituofo will always be by your side, accompanying you on this journey.

The Path to True Awakening

Do not let the difficulties you face in the present moment cause you to stop your progress. Practitioner Su wishes to pass on his capabilities to all of you. You must strive to break through your own limitations. Follow his footsteps, listen to his guidance, and move forward with determination. To achieve this, you must change your personality traits, let go of the ego and the attachments of the body, and practise with fierce diligence, never wavering in your commitment, until you realise your true nature and reach Awakening.

If you follow this path, you will be able to achieve the same results as Practitioner Su. Through your practice in the Pure Land, you will reach a state where you are no longer subject to aging or sickness, and your spirit never dies, ensuring your rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Your Dharma Body will then be able to perform Chao Du for immeasurable and boundless sentient beings in the Dharma realm.

Together with the Buddha-name and the twelve rays of Buddha-light, you will be able to subdue the demons and help the demon crowds surrender at the feet of the Buddha, transforming their path from the way of the demon to the path of the Buddha. There are many such profound tasks that cannot be fully described in words. You must understand the Buddha-heart, align yourself with the Buddha-vows, and follow the Buddha-actions. I hope that you, my children, can succeed and carry on this legacy. Namo Amituofo and the holy assembly of the West are here to protect and support you. Cherish this time, learn well, and use these teachings wisely.
