The State of the Awakened Mind
Those who have realised their true nature possess a heart that is empty and unattached. They act without the burden of intention, for they have transcended the need for deliberate effort. In this state, there is no discrimination, no concept of high or low, and no judgment of good or bad. Their hearts are entirely free from the stains of worldly attachment. What they see and hear is not filtered through the lens of ordinary or conceptual thought. Instead, they observe the needs of beings and the conditions of the environment, responding naturally and spontaneously. Everything they touch or encounter manifests as a perfect .
The Purity of Perception
External environments are neither good nor bad; these labels arise only from the discriminations of our own minds. If your heart is empty and clear, it can encompass the infinite. You will see with absolute clarity and hear with profound understanding. Consider the world around you: a single flower or a blade of grass, a grain of sand or a drop of morning dew, the rising sun of the morning and the setting sun of the evening, the myriad creatures of the earth, the movement of the wind, and the flow of water. In all these things, everything comes naturally as a Dharma.
Selflessness and
This state arises because there is no self, only the presence of sentient beings. By understanding the hearts and intentions of all beings, one can speak at the right moment without any obstruction. Because the minds of sentient beings are boundless, one can follow their needs, and in every interaction, everything comes naturally as a Dharma.
The Fluidity of the Dharma
A pure heart does not dwell on anything; it is free from defilement and remains clear and bright. It can go straight to the heart of the matter, responding to the needs of beings and transforming according to their conditions. Sentient beings are subject to impermanence, and environments are constantly changing. Therefore, the Dharma must also transform accordingly; there is no fixed Dharma. Because the heart does not dwell, it is not limited by any specific teaching. Thus, there are infinite Dharmas to counteract the infinite states of mind of sentient beings. Everything comes naturally as a Dharma.
Oneness with the Dharma Realm
Your body, mind, and spirit are fused into one with the heavens, the earth, and the entire Dharma Realm. Your body is the Dharma Realm; your heart is the universe; your eyes are the mountains and rivers. All living creatures are like various cells within this body, each undergoing its own changes. Within this oneness, the Dharma Realm, the heavens, the earth, the mountains, and all living things are subject to impermanence. Yet, while this body manifests impermanence, the heart remains settled and unmoving, clear and bright. In this state, everything comes naturally as a Dharma, capable of responding to the hearts of beings and serving the needs of the entire universe.
Transcending Time and Space
Everything comes naturally as a Dharma. It is not limited by people, time, or place; it transcends both time and space. This is the true self, the Buddha-nature—cool, free, and at ease, operating with perfect . Namo Amituofo.
