The Descent of Namo Amituofo to Save the World

The primary purpose of this message is to convey a profound truth: Namo Amituofo has personally descended to this world to save all suffering beings. We ask that you receive this message with an open heart and sincere faith. This is not a false or deceptive claim; the truth of this matter is clearly revealed within these words. We address this letter with the utmost respect to all the monastics and lay practitioners of Drum Mountain.

The Urgent Call from Master Sheng Yen

We are writing to you from Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Our bodhimanda has been closed to the public for a long period to facilitate deep, intensive retreat and purification. The reason we have chosen to contact you today is that your teacher, the late Master Sheng Yen, wishes to speak with you. Your teacher is filled with an earnest and heartfelt hope that his disciples from Dharma Drum Mountain will come to meet with him. As practitioners of the Buddha's path, our first duty is to honour our parents and to serve our teachers with devotion. Today, the path to the Western Pure Land is open. Master Sheng Yen is ready to converse with you at any time. We sincerely invite you to come and meet with him. Namo Amituofo.

Breaking the Barriers of Time and Space

The monastics at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre have successfully transcended the limitations of time and space. We have established a connection with the Western Pure Land and are able to engage in direct dialogue with those who reside there. We have already compiled authentic records of our interviews with the thirteen ancestral masters of the Pure Land school. This is an undeniable fact. Our practice is pure and untainted, as clean and clear as a blank sheet of paper. We have dedicated ourselves entirely to the path of liberation.

A Warning on the Laws of

If you harbour any doubts regarding our claims, you are welcome to conduct your own investigation. However, we urge you not to engage in reckless slander. To slander the truth or those who work to save beings is a grave offence that leads to the hells. As practitioners, we believe deeply in the laws of karma and cause and effect. We understand the weight of every action and word. Your teacher is waiting for you with great urgency. Please, for the sake of your teacher and your own spiritual growth, come to visit us as soon as possible. Namo Amituofo.

Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, with respect.
