The Path of Unwavering Faith

It is rare and magnificent to encounter the True Teachings in this life. This path is real, practical, and entirely achievable. However, while you reside in this world, you may encounter slander, criticism, or loss. Do not let these things disturb your heart. Whether you are a prominent figure in politics or business, or an ordinary person in the secular world, many will not believe in the . It is inevitable that there will be discussions, both kind and harsh. None of this should disturb your inner peace. As long as your practice is genuine, you have nothing to fear. Walk the path directly toward the ; it is a direct flight that leads you away from the cycle of birth and death.

Minor illnesses can be treated, and major illnesses can be eased. As long as you have the faith and the vow, you will find that the path requires nothing from you in terms of material gain. If this were not the true Dharma, where else could you find such a path? We will visit these questions one by one, selecting a few to help the assembly clarify their hearts and minds.

The Mission of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre

We must reject the noise of sensationalism and block out the interference of distracting news. There is still a need for a clear, pure stream of wisdom. The role of the General Manager must be carried out with this clarity of heart in mind. You must protect the Buddha's children and keep your heart constantly bright and clear. We are now preparing the incoming information: records of interviews, the lifestyle of the monastic community, teachings from Namo Amituofo, and the reality of other dimensions. All of these will be compiled into books and publications by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

By publishing these virtuous books and sacred texts, we transmit the Dharma. This will increase the right understanding, break through confusion, dispel , and guide the world away from its dusty, clouded state. Even if you, as the Buddha's children, have not yet reached the state of an awakened being, as long as you have a good understanding of the True Teachings and possess the right view, you are already capable of teaching the Dharma.

Sharing the Journey of Practice

Prepare the materials for those who come to the temple. Document the experiences of your practice, your daily life, or even the simple beauty of your meals. By preparing these for visitors, you can gladden their hearts and increase their confidence. Open yourselves to the public. You may ask, what is the secret to saving the world? As you walk this path, keep your heart open and clear. Do not dwell on the comments or criticisms of others. The intention to save the world must remain firm, and your vow must never be moved.

There are two directions in life: the Western Pure Land or the dusty world of samsara. There is no middle ground when it comes to life and death. You, as the Buddha's children, must understand this clearly and have faith in the work you are doing. You will face challenges three times over, but you will surely achieve results. Do not let your heart become lazy. There will certainly be setbacks, so you must support and carry one another.

The Call to the Monastic Community

I have previously written many pieces on the intention of chanting and the transmission of the Dharma to the world. These should be compiled into a single publication for the monastic community to read. I hope the monastics will clarify their hearts, turn their minds toward the True Teachings, and stop wandering in confusion. Whether you are in retreat in Australia or coordinating from Taiwan, all external connections, publications, and discussions should be aligned with the intentions of the publishing house.

First, establish the prototype, then connect with external information. Each volume of the Dharma will further melt the heart and reveal the essence of dignity. Adorn these pages with the golden lotus; the lotus totem represents the golden realm, which is the Western Pure Land itself. This is the external Dharma being transmitted. Whether people perceive it as real or illusory, there will inevitably be suspicion; this is a common occurrence. Understand the Truth and counsel all beings to head West.

A Direct Flight to the Western Pure Land

Do not be bound by trivial matters, for that makes it difficult to make great progress. The affairs of other dimensions must be opened up. The Buddha's words are truly real, and the work of propagation must be carried out. The records of the ancestral masters must be spread far and wide. Regarding the matters of life and death, the , and the three hun souls and seven po souls, these things should also be made public. These are but minor matters compared to the healing of the spirit. As long as you chant Namo Amituofo and practise genuinely, you can adjust the state of the world.

The flight is now taking off, with Practitioner Su at the helm. Following the Buddhas, we are all heading toward the Western Pure Land together. This is not a delusional or difficult task. As long as you are willing, nothing is difficult. Modern people are filled with mixed emotions, fear, and anxiety. You can record these experiences and the words that help settle the mind. How the Buddha's children practise and what they encounter are things that should be shared to encourage those who come after us.

Cultivating the Mind and Saving Beings

For example, the direction of the previous text, 'A Personal Account of the Causes and Conditions for Entering the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre,' discusses the reality of these emotions. This will help open the layers of obstacles in the heart. Modern people are often obstructed by fear and the potential for harm. By using various resources and engaging in many ways, you can save beings according to their conditions. Even if you save only one person, you are still saving beings. Do not worry about where the financial resources will come from; just focus your heart on the act of saving. The current priority is publication and promotion.

There is no time to be drowsy. The Buddha's children and the monastic community must fill this time. In your spare time during interviews, let the pen flow. Write down your sharing of the path of practice. Each of you can create your own way of teaching. One or two hundred pages is sufficient. For instance, 'The Path of Practice of Venerable Haize: the Heart and Leaving the Dust'—you can fill in the last four words yourself. Focus your heart on your own path of practice and explain the core essence of the entire journey. You may combine multiple pieces or write one long piece. The presentation of your own intentions is simply an introduction to the path you have walked. Do you understand my meaning? If you have doubts, you may discuss them with your teachers. This is a publication for each individual, and the may also participate.

The Final Exhortation

Spread the Dharma and offer the gift of the Dharma according to conditions. This will also provide the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre with real evidence of its work. Then, create another volume for the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, introducing the experience of the journey thus far. Venerable Haize can refer to this and begin writing. All the Buddha's children can participate and share their accounts. For those who will come in the future, the inner work must also be carried out.

There is no time to be drowsy. You should sleep less and rest less to hasten your progress. When drowsiness is rare, you will have time to pick up the pen and write. Think of others, and think of saving beings. If you are such a great person, why worry about not seeing the light of your true nature? Practise diligently every day. First, record the interviews with the ancestral masters; second, write your own books; third, compile the publications; and fourth, purify your heart. When you feel drowsy, you can choose one of these four, or choose to go into retreat. There will be no room for drowsiness. You can purify your heart through prostrations or reciting the Sutras. Have fewer desires of your own, such as the desire for relaxation or indulgence. The Buddha's children should learn to find in this; that is the true heart of learning Buddhism. You must understand this to cultivate the mind.

Start with this and then discuss further. You must put your heart into it and clarify your mind. The only way is to constantly turn it around. Turn it for the sake of your vows, not for the sake of chaotic thoughts. You can truly look at yourself and find joy in the process of saving beings. The dignity of the Dharma will manifest in this world. Remember that you started for the sake of the world, and every step forward is for the sake of all beings. This is the way to begin.

Faxi: Disciple Faxi is deeply grateful for the compassionate teachings of the Buddha.
