A Father's Message from Beyond
The Fourth Letter from the Late Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew
Recorded on June 18, 2017
This is a record of an interview with the late Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects his message to his son, Lee Hsien Loong, recorded on June 18, 2017. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faxi.
Lee Kuan Yew speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Lee Kuan Yew. Regardless of how much time has passed, or how many years have slipped away into the annals of history, my heart as a father for my son has never wavered. Hsien Loong, you remain the brightest star in your father's heart. No matter the passage of time, or the great divide that now separates the living from the spirits, whenever I return to the identity of Lee Kuan Yew, the first person who comes to my mind is you, my child. I have had several children, but you, Hsien Loong, are the one who has always moved my heart the most. Perhaps this is due to the karmic connections we forged in our past lives."
A Father's Unwavering Love
"Recently, I have been observing the events unfolding around you. If you were to ask me how to handle these situations, I would tell you this: if you believe in your heart that your actions are correct, then do not concern yourself with the opinions of others. When one worries too much about external , mistakes are bound to follow. This was always my philosophy of success during my time in the world."
Beyond the Philosophy of Success
"However, now that I have achieved rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I no longer have any need for such worldly philosophical constructs. What I wish to convey to you now is a message of monumental importance—a truth that transcends all political strategy. If your physical health can still be salvaged, Hsien Loong, would you be willing to believe in this just once? I am waiting for you to come and verify the truth of these matters for yourself. I truly hope you will come."
An Invitation to Verify the Truth
"I, your father, Lee Kuan Yew, will continue to wait here. I am waiting for a response from my son. I know the burdens of state affairs are heavy, but taking time to relax is a good thing. Here, in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, we can help resolve the most fundamental causes of suffering. Please, take the time to visit. A practitioner of great cultivation will never suffer a loss. Namo Amituofo."
