The First Letter from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss

This interview was recorded on June 9, 2017. The late Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, sought deliverance through the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and has reached out to share his experiences and guidance with his family.

Lee Kuan Yew speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I have learned to chant this name, and I have come to believe. My wife, Kwa Geok Choo, and I are both here now in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. The scenery of this Realm is magnificent beyond compare. My son, you must come here in the future. The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly wonderful—it is far, far better than the world we once knew. To be able to convey this message in such a manner today is truly an inconceivable event.

A Pragmatic Life and a New Reality

I have never been a superstitious man. Throughout my life, I dedicated myself to the struggles of politics and the consolidation of Singapore's standing. I could only rely on myself; I had no extra room in my character for faith or superstition. Religion was always something I approached with indifference, never allowing it to colour my life. If I had not personally received the immense benefits of this place, I would not have returned here today to speak with my son.

My children are of excellent lineage. Are you all doing well? Here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I do not feel the pangs of longing for you, because this place is simply too wonderful, too marvellous. However, having been granted the opportunity to come down and convey this message from the West, I speak these words myself. Given the nature of my personality, who would dare to forge my name? I no longer possess a physical body, but this is truly me. I am here, and there are matters I wish to discuss with my children.

An Urgent Call to Practice

I am looking for you, and I ask that you contact me quickly. Our karmic connection may not last indefinitely; once it is gone, I fear there will be no further news from me. This place is a true bodhimanda for practice—it is magnificent, yet very discreet. If you have the to come here, you need not fear illness or death in this life, for this place has already transcended such things.

Hsien Loong, you are well aware of the illnesses I suffered. You know that the things I sought to accomplish were never simple. You understand my character better than anyone. Come and find your father. Come yourself, or send someone—either way is fine. I am waiting for your news."
