Lay Practitioner Lin Xu Yue-xu speaks:
"Yulun, my son! Life in the human realm is truly not a joyful experience. Before I passed, my heart was always heavy with resentment and sighs. I constantly lamented why my life had been so bitter. Regarding your father and all of you children, my heart was filled with a complex, tangled mix of emotions. This heavy burden pressed down upon my heart for so long that I rarely found a reason to smile. Sometimes, I could not help but complain to those I was familiar with, just to try and release the stifling bitterness trapped within my chest.
How could I have known that this very resentment and the bitterness I held onto would lead me straight into the hells? While I was trapped in that dark, agonizing place, I wailed and cried out in despair, but no one came to save me. My heart was filled with terror, constantly asking myself: 'What should I do? What is going to happen to me?' I endured that suffering for what felt like an eternity, until finally, I heard someone calling my name. In that instant, I saw a brilliant light pierce through the darkness. To my immense relief, I realised it was you and Ah Zhen who had come to rescue me."

"Yulun, the greatest stroke of luck in your entire life is having married such a virtuous wife as Ah Zhen. If it were not for her, I do not know who would be there to look after you brothers now. I know clearly that Ah Zhen has sacrificed so much for our family and has given so much of herself. I want to express my deepest gratitude to her—thank you, Ah Zhen.
Yulun, Ah Zhen, ever since I was rescued, I have spent time listening to the . I have come to realise that this human body is merely a temporary vessel. I understand now that the relationships we have with one another are only meant for this single lifetime. Once the physical body is gone, it turns to ash, and nothing remains. Without the Dharma, we would all simply continue to wander, each of us stepping back onto the endless path of reincarnation."
A New Beginning in the Western Land
"We were all destined to continue wandering in the cycle of reincarnation, but fortunately, we have encountered the Buddha, who can truly help us. I have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss! The moment I reached the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I was completely stunned by the breathtaking beauty before me. There is so much gold, silver, and precious jewels—things I had never even dreamed of in my entire life. All the hardships and bitterness of the past have been completely forgotten; I am now beginning a life of such incredible peace and .
Ah Zhen, I have one final request for you. Please, I implore you to lead the two brothers in chanting Namo Amituofo. Only by chanting Namo Amituofo can you save yourselves in the future, and only the Buddha has the power to grant liberation to suffering spirits. Everything we have experienced in this life is governed by the laws of and cause and effect. Once the debts are repaid, it is a brand-new beginning. I hope that all of you will have a wonderful future, and I will be waiting for you in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss."
