Venerable Master Wei Jue speaks:
"My heart is filled with a sorrow few can comprehend. Although I reside in the Western Land, my thoughts remain tethered to the world I left behind. I have spoken, yet my words have met with no response. I wait, and so I send this second letter.

Even if one has entered meditative concentration and distanced oneself from the secular world, one must realise this is still within the cycle of reincarnation. Do not return to the suffering of .
The Path to True Liberation
In your next life, there is no guarantee you will encounter the Buddha’s teachings again. If you remain trapped in the cycle of reincarnation, you will continue to create without end. When will you truly attain liberation? Only by achieving rebirth in the Western Pure Land can one be truly free. It is only by reaching this place, as I have, that one can be called truly liberated.
A Heart Bound by
My words have yet to receive a response. While it is said that those who study the Buddha’s teachings should not have attachment, and that one should let go of affinity to become a person of the Western Land, I simply cannot bear to see the suffering of beings. How could I not be concerned for Chung Tai, which remains so close to my heart? I urge all of you to join hands and hearts in this practice.
With palms joined in reverence, I offer my sincere repenting.
Namo Amituofo."
