A Reunion Across the Cosmos with the Guba-Da People
An Interview with Venerable Nishiu
Recorded on June 11, 2018
This interview was recorded on June 11, 2018, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Venerable Nishiu, a being from the Eastern Universe, recounts his ancient connection to the Guba-Da people and their recent deliverance through the compassionate efforts of Practitioner Su and the power of Namo Amituofo.
Venerable Nishiu speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. My name is Nishiu, and I am the one thousand, one hundred and first Venerable. Over four thousand years ago, I began as a single drop of nectar that descended into the soil. Through the nurturing of the four elements—earth, water, fire, and wind—I manifested from a mound of clay. I am a prince from the Eastern Universe, having descended into this world to propagate the teachings of Goodness.
When I first appeared in this world, I was already a young man in my twenties. Looking around at the environment of the Earth, I found it to be a place of profound peace and serenity. I practiced alone on this vast land, observing the changes in the heavens and the earth, and naturally, I awakened to many of the natural laws that govern the universe.
The Symphony of Nature
I would sit cross-legged on the grass, gazing out at the boundless green expanse. With my eyes half-closed, the sounds of nature flowed clearly into my ears. I watched as dew on the green leaves gathered into a single droplet, sliding from one leaf to another with a rhythmic 'drip-drop' sound. A caterpillar crawled across a leaf, making a soft 'rustle, rustle' sound as it moved.
Then, I could hear the delicate sound of the caterpillar chewing on the green leaf. The wind blew across the entire meadow, causing the blades of grass to brush against one another, creating a gentle, harmonious collision. Flowers bloomed in brilliant colours, attracting butterflies that fluttered in to collect nectar; as they flapped their wings, it sounded like two pieces of soft fabric brushing together. There was also the murmuring of a nearby stream, and white clouds drifted slowly across the sky above my head. When is in a state of total stillness, even the most subtle sounds can enter the ear with perfect clarity.
The Discovery of the Guba-Da
At that time, I discovered a place where beings similar to humans had appeared. They lacked deep, defined facial features and had no fingers; their hands were merely rounded fists. Their limbs were not yet capable of refined movements, much like a newborn infant. They possessed no complex thoughts, no language, and no visual imagery. Instead, they used various sound waves to transmit information, and their sense of hearing was incredibly acute.
Observing these beings, I decided to use the sound waves they were familiar with to transmit messages of kindness, good thoughts, and virtuous deeds, ensuring that these teachings of Goodness would be passed down through their generations. It was only after I entered their tribe that I learned these beings, so similar to humans, were extraterrestrials from the Guba-Da planet. They had been passing through Earth and were surveying the environment, planning to relocate to Earth thousands of years later when their own planet's energy was exhausted.
A Cosmic Reunion
Practitioner Su and one thousand, one hundred and sixty-two Venerables arrived in the cosmos to perform . When the chanting of the Buddha-name began, the entire universe began to radiate positive energy. The Venerables dispersed in all directions to deliver sentient beings, and the of Practitioner Su permeated the entire realm of emptiness. Today, I have encountered the residents of the Guba-Da planet once again. As I arrived at a planet outside the Milky Way, I heard the familiar sound waves—it was the Guba-Da people I had encountered on Earth thousands of years ago.
In this reunion, I saw that the residents of the planet had all achieved a high level of cultivation. This was because the teachings of Goodness I had transmitted to their ancestors had been expanded upon and deepened by subsequent generations. This is the inherent Wisdom and good roots of the residents of that planet; they have a profound karmic affinity with the Buddha’s teachings. The beings who appeared on Earth all those years ago were the first generation of the Guba-Da people.
The Crisis of Energy
These teachings of Goodness became the core belief passed down through the generations on the Guba-Da planet. From the moment each resident was born, their parents taught them these principles, ensuring they would flow through the ages. The entire planet radiated a magnetic field of friendliness, warmth, and .
However, the first generation of residents thousands of years ago had already foreseen that they would encounter an energy catastrophe millennia later. Now, as the population of the Guba-Da planet gradually increased, their energy was nearing total depletion. Once that energy was lost, all the residents would gradually wither away, eventually decomposing into tiny particles and vanishing into the vastness of the universe.
The Salvation of Namo Amituofo
My Buddha, Namo Amituofo, is full of compassion. Practitioner Su brought an abundance of energy and, by chanting the holy name of 'Namo Amituofo,' infused that energy into the Guba-Da planet. Blessed by the Buddha-light and the power of the Buddha-name, the planet regained its vitality, and every resident returned to their former happiness. Today, the holy name of 'Namo Amituofo' has been transmitted to the Guba-Da planet. In the future, the residents will pass down this holy name through every generation, and the planet will receive an inexhaustible source of energy.
I also used sound waves to tell the residents that the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss possesses immeasurable and boundless energy. If they single-mindedly chant the Buddha-name, the entire Guba-Da planet can migrate to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. The residents expressed that they would gather their elders to hold a meeting and discuss the magnificent event of migrating to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. They look forward to meeting in the West in the future. I am so grateful to Practitioner Su for giving me the opportunity to reunite with the Guba-Da people. It was only this time that the holy name of 'Namo Amituofo' was truly transmitted to the planet, allowing its residents to obtain an endless supply of energy.
The Mission of Deliverance
Practitioner Su’s Dharma Body performs Chao Du throughout the cosmos, and she is constantly sending large groups of beings from various planets to the West. In the future, more and more residents of these planets will be able to chant 'Namo Amituofo' and be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. When these extraterrestrial beings return to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, they will manifest as spiritual bodies. Under the illumination of the Buddha-light, each will recover their dignified Dharma appearance. Under the guidance of Namo Amituofo, they will join the ranks of those who save the world. They wish to share this magnificent encounter with more spirits drowning in the sea of suffering, delivering sentient beings to be reborn in the Western Land according to their karmic affinity. I am grateful for the compassion of my Buddha. Namo Amituofo!"
